If you were actually listening to his reply he said that the reason it was the most difficult was because it was while he was running for US Senate and that Pres. Bush was very popular so that taking a stance against the war could have meant him losing the senatorial race.

David Gergin made a very good point. McCain gave the appearence of wanting to wage war on everyone. This could easily start turning off moderates and independants. I thought McCain was starting to lose it at a couple of points. And I'm sorry he seemed prepped for the questions.

Yes there is something medically wrong with him. I think thats why when he released his medical records, they put such tight conditions on seeing them. They dumped 1200 pages of documents and only permitted a few hours to view them all.

Actually based on polling of women and hispanics, Obama doesn't need the Clintons. He's doing pretty good in those demographics without her. And I'd suggest if she wants to keep her senate seat she needs to calm the waters. Already there's a movement in NY to find a replacement for her.
