Yeah, Iraq is sure a loser for Obama. Look how much hay McCain made just yesterday by taking the opposite view from Obama on the neverending war for Weapons of Mass Destruction.

I'm of the opinion Obama's "white male problem" versus McCain is still just a low information trend.
Much of America is not paying attention to this campaign, and many of the white males being polled know McCain as the mavericky fighter pilot who served as a POW. They don't know, or care, that the 2008 version of McCain bears almost no resemblence to the 2000 and prior version. On policy matters and the fact he is daily confused about what he means or said earlier in the day.
I have the distinct feeling McCain has maxed out his support and will only drop as the weeks and months of campaigning roll by.
This white male would have likely voted for McCain in 2000 had he gotten the nomination. Today I am pretty embarrassed for Senator McCain and only hope he can retire in November with a bit of his honor still in tact.

AS you mentione din your earlier post, Greg, the key is that the Dems are hitting him on the clarification. They are not twisting his words at all. They put it in the context McCain's camp used in clarification # 1. now they look like fools for trying to divert and expand the debate to something else.
If anyone is paying attention, Obama is wiping the floor with McCain today.

Bill Murray for VEEP:
"Even if we play so far above our heads that our noses bleed for a week to 10 days; even if God in Heaven above points his hand at our side of the field; even if every man, woman and child joined hands together and prayed for us to win, it just wouldn't MATTER because all the really good-looking girls would still go out with the guys from Mohawk because they've got all the money! It just doesn't MATTER if we win or if we lose. It just doesn't MATTER."
"IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER, IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER..."

This is as weak as his "verb tense" defence. If his principal concerns are accurate according to this statement I think he is wrong and will lose this debate.
We should be caring about the bigger picture of global security against terrorists, America's standing in the world, including the view of America by the Muslim world, as well as the troops and security of Iraq.
Wearing blinders and rose colored glasses about becoming welcomed occupants of Iraq is stupidity and a sure loser. I hope he keeps hammering this line of thinking.

A denial from Lieberman's aide is pretty weak when he takes the opportunity to attack Obama without even framing the conversation that took place. If Barack didn't call Joe on the lukewarm Muslim comment (which reminded me of Hillary's "as far as I know") than what did the two Senators discuss on the floor that day?

That's how I tread Axelrod's comments. No campaining for Bill but Obama having access to Bill for his "knowledge". Not sure what that means in practical terms, but to me it means no Bubba on the stump.
I think Hillary on the stump to sooth her supporters will continue to help, esspecially if she takes up some issues, health care and women's rights are the most obvious, to show the clear differences between Obama and McCain with Obama carrying her torch forward, and McCain...not. She needs to stay away from things like Gas tax and CIC tests where she previously sided with or ranked McCain higher.

The previous story is about how Hillary ran up $30 million in debt all the while continuing to try to milk more out of fundraisers who had given every contact they had the hard sell for Hill for months on end even after hope was lost. The fatigue is Hillary induced, not Obama or Democrat enduced.
I don't think it will matter to the Obama campaign in the long run since he will likely hit the 2 million donor mark soon, and he will be well funded for the general, so the story here is again about Clinton's mismanagement of funds and abuse fo the donor base she had.
The readers here are obviously suffering from Clinton fatigue as well, but the obituaries on the Clinton campaign will certainly continue until there is some other major campaign news. That may not happen for weeks or months until VP candidates are named, so either don't read these posts folks or find some other hobby until August.

Don't count on it.
The rally cry still seems to be 18 million (more than him), then some backhanded praise of his campaign.
I'd wager she says 18 million more than 3 times in tomorrow's "consession".

Since he started running on February 10, 2007, I'd suggest it only took him 483 days to get her concession her.
And since it has been pretty much impossible for her to win since losing 11 straight contest in February, 2008, I'd subtract another 100 days.
So really he beat her in about 375 days or a little over a year.
