Boy, I hope so. I can't understand why it's even close. Even given the financial differences, Cornyn has been such a Bush loyalist, you would think Noriega would be blowing him out of the water.

I disagree that the segue to McCain's houses and lobbyists detracts from the vet-to-vet confrontation. The point seems to be that McCain is no longer truly a vet, but is now instead just a disconnected Washington type.

I had the misfortune to stumble upon a Cornyn TV ad. It decried partisan bickering and made it look like he was some sort of independent. No "Republican" anywhere in the ad. Ugh.
