  • And also puts Bill Clinton's comments about how she can change the dynamics of the race if 600,000 West Virginians get out and vote a bit more into context. He's counting on 1/3 of the entire population of the state. It's a good thing he's so fond of fairy tales.

  • My problem with the AP article about 4 more supers for Obama is that they only name the one. I'd be thrilled if it were true, but I'd like some names and sources first, please.

  • Thank you! As a Govt. employee who has had to change how and what I buy because of the 2005 Energy Bill and all of its green initiatives, I have a hard time understanding all the hate. Maybe it is because I'm unaware of the other parts of the legislation, but I'm glad some recognize that there were some positive aspects to it as well.

  • Actually, I would be willing to bet that I'm older than you. And I attended Clinton's first inauguration. Unfortunately, fifteen years of experience with the Clintons changed my mind, not Republican talking points.

  • He also reiterated the Clinton campaign talking point (which is also a lie) that Clinton was the first, first lady since Eleanor Roosevelt to go into a war zone. Actually Pat Nixon was.

  • From the perspective of a Government employee, I know that I had to start changing what I was allowed vs. not allowed to purchase concerning energy-efficiency, recyclable, renewable, etc. So although I don't know much about what it did for the oil companies, as far as restrictions on the Government to be more proactively green, it was very good.

  • I live in Texas. The Hispanic areas tend to be of lower populace. The much larger areas, such as Houston, Dallas/Ft. Worth have large AA concentrations. Plus, many major universities which tend to go for Obama. As an example, Baylor, which is a conservative Southern Baptist University, has a much larger Obama group than any other candidate. He has a real shot, and with Obama on the ballot, he gives other Dems a real chance at some of the open congressional spots.
