Here is a video of Condi telling Wexler/Congress that the intelligence we went to war on was all wrong. If she knew that the intelligence was wrong, told Congress (oath or no) that she didn't know the intelligence was wrong, doesn't that make her a perjurer?

Here is a YouTube of Obama questioning Petraeus 9/11/2007. Let is NOT be said that Obama refuses to talk to Petraeus.
It is well known that wingers wish Obama ill - from their 'jokes' to their wish to send Obama to Iraq. The market place where McCain took his well guarded stroll looks like this today.

But, but, we'd be unpatriotic if we with hold monies from the Executive Branch - we wouldn't be supporting the troops - we are already withholding nomination confirmations (look where that has gotten us, no functioning FEC and there are several acting deputy XYZs that will be acting until the end of the term in violation of law) and so on.
These suggestions from the White House are bogus, and they know it.

Nobody does compromise quite like the Bush administration.
That is a quote for the books.
Maybe an alternate word for compromise would be Cheney-ise?

Former Chief Council to the Pentagon Haynes really screwed the hootch by saying, "We can't have acquittals, we've got to have convictions." Now that the cat is out of the bag (and not just the grumblings of a few liberals) the Bush PR is going to have to work hard.
Isn't it interesting that they are going to ditch the press inorder to miscarry justice? With secret prisons, secret laws, secret 'justice', tell me the difference between US and the former USSR gulag. Scale. That is all.

Yoo testify, and Addington a maybe? Humph. They are plotting something. It won't be the truth, but it certainly will be interesting.

Lieberman is 'only the chairman of governmental oversight' is one of the reasons we are in the mess that we are in now, no oversight. No oversight of the financial world, no oversight of the Pentagon (spending, covert operations, methods of war making, anything), no oversight of the DoJ, no oversight of the FEC, no oversight AT ALL over the DHS. And so on.
The problems with leaving Lieberman in his position are that the baddies will get away with what they have been doing, the baddies will keep on doing what they are doing, there will be no new oversight rules written, and so the baddies will forever keep on doing what they are doing. Is this what we want?
Strip Joe of his chairmanship. And convince a couple of Rs to vote with us - we won't have to fear the veto, so the faux filibuster will not work as often as it does now.

Hillary will never get my willing vote, not because she voted for war in Afghanistan or even Iraq, but because she voted for Kyle-Lieberman, the AMUF for IRAN, which also designates the Iranian Army to be a terrorist organization (violating the 3rd Geneva convention). She did this full knowing that Bushco falsifies intelligence, will not let the UN do inspections, will not negotiate in good faith, and the rest of the gin mill to war, any war. She voted to spend American blood and treasure on another illegal preemptive war. That is 'Publican turf, which she has demonstrated that she owns with her support of NAFTA, her smears of Moveon.org, her targeting of Obama rather than McCain and so on. I don't know how her actions will playout in the the short or long run, I just know I'm not in favor of her now, though I will hold my nose and vote for her in the general if it comes to that.
