  • Obamawon, formerly Lville1975,

Thank you for a great post! Recommended!

Welcome aboard the Obama Express. So good to have you on board. Now let's all work together at getting Sen. Obama into the White House.

  • I heard on Boston radio this morning that 2 Edwards delegates from NH were switching their support to Obama today. Have not seen it in print anywhere yet.

Wish there was more SD movement so they can seat the FL/MI delegates. I was glad to see Cardoza put that in his statement.

  • When Hillary said she would not have stayed in that church if Rev. Wright had been her pastor, she also said you don't choose your family but you choose your pastor.

Well she chose her husband. I was surprised someone didn't confront her with Monica-gate and ask her why she stayed with her husband, why she didn't choose to leave him when he totally humiliated her in front of the country and the world.

  • conorflynn,

I find your logic a bit flawed. You failed to consider that some of the states that HRC won will vote Democratic no matter who is on the ticket. You have to include these totals in Obama's electoral votes as well. I believe you will find that gives him a comfortable lead.

  • How about:

    4. Voters who are unsure who to vote for will vote for HRC because they will "think" they are getting both Clinton and Obama.

This should be nipped in the bud because Obama will loose votes to Clinton with these rumors. More of her dirty little tactics. I wonder what dirty tricks she will come up with tomorrow?

  • She was just being honest. Hillary IS a MONSTER! I am not a part of the Obama campaign so I will not resign and I can not be fired. And I am not about to apologize for telling the truth!

  • She should not only fire herself for many things she has said during this campaign, but she should also fire hubby Bill for all the times he has opened mouth, inserted foot.

Poor Samantha was just being totally honest. Hilliary IS a MONSTER!!!

I feel bad for all the young people who, for the very first time, became involved in the political process. What do they think of politics now? How much hope for the future do they have left? How long can it last?

I am a 50+ white female Viet-Nam era vet. This is the first time I have been excited about a candidate since Bobby Kennedy. But, one person is single handedly squashing all my hopes. I feel like crawling back into a hole and staying away from politics for the remainder of my years. Thank you Hillary for destroying hope and inspiration and the possibility of pride in the future of America again. I am ashamed of you, and I am ashamed at the entire Democratic Party for allowing this to continue.

I am shocked that the DNP has allowed her to run wild like she is doing. She is worse than a pit bull and should be put down just like the vicious dog that she is. She is going to destroy the whole party before she is done. She has already done a ton of damage.

I hear people talking about what a mess the Dem. are in and how they are their own worst enemy. The Rep. party doesn't need a plan of attack against the Dem. Just leave them alone and they will destroy themselves. Very, very sad that the powers that be (if there are any strong enough to stand up to Hill and Bill) continue to let this continue and let one candidate destroy what could have been a whole new generation of Democrats.

I guess this is nothing but POLITICS as USUAL. Silly me to think that it could have been different this time around.

  • I think another thing to watch is the difference in delegate count if FL and MI are added in.

According to DemConWatch (http://demconwatch.blogspot.com/) if you count all pledged delegates, super delegates and include FL and MI, the count is 1653 for Sen Clinton and 1631 for Sen Obama. If more SDs pledge over the next couple of weeks to Sen Obama, and he does well in some of the upcoming states (WY, MS, NC) and comes close or ties in PA, it will not matter if the FL and MI delegates are seated at the convention.

Right now the lead for HRC with MI and FL is just 22 delegates. HRC keeps pushing for the FL and MI delegates to be seated at the convention. She thinks this will win it for her. I don't think she has done the math. But that's nothing new.

I predict Sen. Obama will erase that 22 delegate lead before the PA primary, and further predict he will have at least a 10 delegate lead going into PA even if you include the MI and FL delegates.

The SDs could put an end to the MI and FL delegate debate by endorsing Sen. Obama.

  • HRC not only said she won in Florida but also said she won in Michigan! In her "victory" speech she listed all the states she won so far and it included both FL and MI. Not too hard to win if you are the only name on the ballot.

HRC now needs 60+ percent in all remaining states. She only pulled 55% in MI when she was the only name on the ballot (Kucinich, Dodd & Gravel pulled 5%). Uncommitted got 40%. A re-do in MI and FL would be just fine. I bet she doesn't do as well in MI when there is actually another name on the ballot.

She can't catch Sen. Obama's delegate lead. It was over for HRC after the Potomac Primaries. I heard the fat lady sing. HRC is just real slow at calculating the math. And she claims Sen. Obama needs to get his head out of the clouds!!! Earth to Hillary - it's all over.

  • Just about all politicians use speech writers without giving them credit. A great speech writer does not necessarily make for a great speech. Vision Bush reciting Shakespeare.

Much of a great speech has to be credited to a great speaker and his delivery of the message.

    Obama is a great speaker.
