  • ..... upon reading all the press alluding to the fact that it was the United States and their goading of Russia into Afghanistan that eventually broke the Soviet Empire isn't it aren't the current heads of state, if they have any pride at all in their nation juss seething waiting for an opportunity to turn things around to us? We're absolutely powerless because we're busy playing whack a mole while Russia is gearing up waiting to pounce. I believe they have made contact and struck. I await our most feeble response. What an interesting time this will turn out to be.

  • ...... sad cynical question: By doing this on a Saturday is it good because she extends the news cycle (it will be a pretty major event) or bad because she is doing on a day where people really wouldn't be paying as much attention. I muss concede last night that when I got the email (went to hillaryclinton.com to tell her to dropout) I was happy for reading its contents.

  • ....wow I was mesmerised for the duration of Obama's speech. Nice reaction by the crowd too with their hearty round of applause for Clinton. Beyond classy it even had me clapping at my keyboard. I am proud to support the Democratic Party tonight........

  • .... the man wasn't there for Pfleger's sermon (full disclosure I laughed at the end of the clip I saw) and he certainly can't be responsible for everything that emanates from a supporter of his. The only thing he has done I disagreed with was jettisoning Power the way he did. A true intellectual who brought great cache to the campaign. Of course Obama's church is going to be an issue in the fall. I imagine faux preachers in MN dressed in black face mimicking Wright and screaming God Damn America over and over. If they wore bandaids to mock Kerry imagine the bile Obama will face. I'll weep whatever tears I have left at the vileness of my fellow Americans.......

  • ......can we make this a election a best candidate challenge? Like in golf McCain could choose a person like Romney who would receive the highest number of votes in places like MA and UT and uh MI? and Obama can use Clinton to head the ticket in FL, OH and AR? The highest vote total amongst the candidates will take that state for their respective party? I mean if we're willing to chuck the rules we should screw this piecemeal method I say radical realignment of the election process.

  • .....it pains me that as a non-practising Jewiush man I seem to be an important demographic for Obama, one that happens to be declining and the flames are being fanned that (he is an anti-semite as Mike Malloy would whisper) he has some sort of a Jewish problem. I haven't seen any polling indictaiong how Jewish people would vote so I am curious if this is a real phenomenon or anecdotal in nature. I can't imagine seeing McCain sidle up with Hagee and Parsley would be a persuading factor in Jews voting for the GOP this cycle.
