I haven't taken Halperin seriously since way back in November he devoted three columns, three, to whether or not Obama had really quit smoking. It was so earnest, as if he were uncovering some sort of earth shaking scandal.

The really sickening thing is I was watching George Stephanopolous give analysis on ABC tonight and he said, "Obama has moved to McCain's position to create a surge in Afghanistan, because he sees how successful the surge was in Iraq."
I was astounded... surely George is either an idiot or liar. Obama has always held that Afghanistan needed more soldiers.

Agreed...I listen to Rush and Sean just to see what the talking points are coming out of right. They both seized on the New Yorker with the bent that I thought they would go after, that in all humor is the kernel of truth. And how the liberal New Yorker times thinks terrorism is funny and therefore all liberals find terror amusing et al. The cover only helped further their misinformation cause.
