  • Change the word "complaint" to "compliant" and you've won me. Of course, quibbling aside, what you are saying is on the money. The government has deliberately denied adequate money to fund good education. Ignorance is bliss as far as they're concerned. If Americans can't engage in critical thinking, they are less likely to realize what the government is really doing.

  • You have no idea how much I'm looking forward to that meltdown. I hope it happens on national TV, at a debate with Obama, hopefully. Can you imagine the headlines? Actually the headlines the next day in most MSM would probably be pretty mild. "McCain gets peeved." "Obama overreacts." The MSM give McCain pretty much of a walk. But I can imagine viewers looking askance at each other and saying, "WTF?"

  • Not to change the subject, but to change the subject slightly: since Bob Dylan has publicly said that he supports Obama, how about Obama using some of Dylan's wicked imagery from the last disgusting war. Masters of War, for example. The Times They Are A'Changin'. With God on our Side. Just to name a few. And the hits just keep on comin'.

  • Oh, and BTW, I am aching to see those townhall-style meetings that McInsane keeps whining for. 5, 10 whatever. Little Mac is going to get his butt KICKED. Decisively. Unlike Mac, Obama can speak off the cuff; he has tons of data available at all times. That's the difference between being both prepared and highly intelligent (Obama) and being slightly senile and coached. I really really want to see Mac lose his cool. He's famous for it.

  • Yeahbut. The Repugs never seem to remember that people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. And McCain lives in a house of glass. He should be very careful what he or his minions say, or he will find himself living among shards.

  • They do. I read a few weeks ago that the Obama campaign had hired a researcher. And since McCain is carrying a LOT of baggage and has many things he would rather not be public, he must be worrying. My instinct is that Obama will not make the first blow. He no doubt has plenty of ammunition for that "gun" though.
