  • We get more than 300 days of sunshine in Denver, and it's very hot and dry in August. While a few afternoon sprinkles are not unheard of, it's not likely to rain during the speech.

As to altitude, thousands of tourists come to Denver and the mountains with no problem. While visitors will need to drink a lot of water and take it easy at the brew pubs, most people will adjust within a day or two.

  • As a resident of Colorado, this trend doesn't surprise me at all. The American West is a very special place. People here tend to have a live-and-let-live attitude. While most of us are white or Hispanic, people are generally accepting of other races and cultures. And we don't take kindly to fast talking and pandering--we just want someone honest who will get the job done and do it right the first time. Obama is that person.

  • I think most important part of the 1995 quote is being overlooked here:

"You don't owe them a thing, Bill. They're doing nothing for you; you don't have to do anything for them."

Once again, Hillary is showing her true colors. She doesn't care about anything except herself. If she's elected, her priorities will be paying back the lobbyists and donors that have "done for her" during the election.

  • "The federal gasoline tax helps pay for highway projects in nearly every town through a dedicated trust fund. In the past, such proposals for gas tax holidays have not fared well as lawmakers and state and local officials prefer not to see changes in their revenue source."

Hmmm, don't we need that money to say, repair crumbling overpasses? As I understand it, there's a lack of funds for highway repairs and maintenance, not a surplus.

  • It would've been more appropriate for Greg to also add that Hillary Clinton's campaign is notorious for holding Obama's campaign to a higher standard than her own

Good point and just another reminder that Hillary uses Karl Rove–style tactics, like accusing her opponent of committing sins that she herself is guilty of.
