I consider it far more obscene for people like some of my law skool profs, particularly feminists and URMs, to assert that they should be privileged by virtue of race or gender. And that bad ideas must be promoted because of the privileged identity of the so-called "scholar." I think it is obscene that people posing as intellectuals and promoters of human rights can actuallt think that the formality of a 50% female "legislature" in a dictatorship actually is better tha British democracy, even if 87% of the MPs don't have cunts, presumably they can understand and represent the interests of their constituents who do. In Turmenistan, if a cunt-possesor complains to a MWC of the legislature, you can be sure the security services will be arresting that cunt-possessor shortly. (My use of the term "cunt-possessor" is meant to highlight the madness of identity politics. In the height of such silliness, I saw in the Guardian some five years ago an article about some DCO (dumb cunts' organization) which argued that Turkmenistan was better than the UK because 50% of their legislature was womyn, while the House of Commons only had 13% MWCs (members with cunts). I've been to Ashgabat and seen first-hand the horrors of Turkmenistan, but I imagine you dumb cunts can't even figure out how ridiculous and shameful on all levels the argument behind the Guardian article truly is.

On another front, I see how the dumb cunt proprietor of this site is confused by the higher bid for Bear. It's simple: Bear's assets are not as toxic as feared, and JPM should pay the shareholders something closer to the real value of their shares, notwithstanding the unusual nature of this transaction.

the smart money is smart because it reflects the opinions of people betting real money and making cold calculations, not getting all misty eyed about The Speech or coming in your pants when your see Obama's noble looking face on TV, looking noble and all. If Clinton wins by landslides in PA, WV and KY, and by wide margins in IN and NC, she probably will be the nominee. Not easy, she needs to run the board, but it could happen. Just probably not.

But man, after a few years of Obama, people will slowly realize just what a disaster affirmative action really is, writ large. He really will be a disaster like W, just a different flavor.

eh, intrade has Clinton at 20 or so, Obama at 80. The smart money says she has an outside shot. And it looks like Wright hasn't dented Obama that badly, but we won't really know until PA. It Clinton clobbers him, who knows? And I think the more it sinks in that Obama has a long and intimate relationship with a crazy fruitcake fanatic with crazy shit, ignorant and ugly ideas, it might hurt him after all. It should anyway.

oh, he has it all wrong. The problem isn't deadbeat poor people losing their homes, the problem is the integrity of the financial system, and I don't see much prescience in this letter at all. Just some hand wringing about how dumb people who took mortgages from dumb bankers willing to lend to poor people were gonna have problems when the rates reset, which *everyone* knew was coming down the pike.
