Hillary' so-called blue-collar strategy
Forty years ago, Richard Nixon gave us the "Southern Strategy" which consisted of going after the white bigot vote in the south. Now, we have Hillary Clinton adopting the same strategy. Go after the uneducated, low-skilled, homophomic, white bigots... that is her "base." ...more »

IT'S ABOUT NOVEMBER, STUPID: HRC LOST AND OBAMA WON AND IT IS TIME TO DESTORY JOHN BUSH-MCCAIN
I have expended way too much energy into the Obama vs HRC debate when the reality is that Obama is the Democratic nominee. I will no longer enable HRC's quixotic bid for the White House. In short, HRC no longer matters...more »

The silver lining in HRC's defeat
There is a silver-lining to HRC's defeat in 2008. First, it frees the Democratic Party from the suffocating control of angry, old white women who don't and didn't have the gonads to reach for greatness. Second, it frees the Party from its 40-year...more »

Heston is Dead, along with many other Americans, thanks to him
Today's media trumpets the announcement of the death of Charlton Heston. While some give passing notice to his support of the radical right wing, none in the MSM accurately indict him for the uncountable deaths his so-called "convictions" have caused. For more...more »

Newsbreak: Reagan Democrats Are Not Democrats
RMN devised the the Southern Strategy in 1968... in 1980, Reagan appropriated the white-bigot vote -- the so-called Reagan Democats. In 2008, HRC is depending on the white-bigot vote to steal the Democratic nomination from decent, anti-bigot progressives. What Obama has achieved...more »

I am not angry... I am jubilant that Obama has defeated HRC. I wrote my post because I understand that the Clintons and their ilk (think, DLC) are a life-threatening cancer on the Democratic Party. Obama's defeat of HRC is akin to the surgical removal of a cancerous tumor. However, the Party will require follow-up chemo and radiation therapy to prevent new tumors.

And she is repulsive. Any self-respecting woman would have sent Bill over the edge when they discovered Monica-gate. What is very clear is that Bill and Hillary are more about power than about the good the the country.

AA voters will stay home if HRC steals the nomination. No, they will not vote for McBush. "Staying home" is more than enough to defeat HRC's racist campaign and, unfortunately, put an equally racist John McCain the WH. HRC's "blue collar" argument is pure racism. Hate to tell her, but the blue collar bigot vote went to Reagan for a reason: the GOP is the party of bigots. What Obama is offering in 2008 is a party that rejects bigotry and truly demonstrates its dedication to real equality. Of course, that really scares white, blue collar, bigots.

dave: HRC lost your vote because she is no liberal or progressive... the entire DLC crowd are DINOs. Thanks to you and other voters like you, the liberal/progressive and, sane, voices of American voters are reclaiming the Democratic Party as opposed to pandering to conservatives. The silver lining in the Joe Lieberman campaign is that we learned that the DLCers need to be expelled from the party. Finally, the Democratic wing of the party is taking the party back from the Hoover/George Wallace/Reagan/Clinton pretenders.

Obama puts NC into play. As for Dole, she was and is a weak candidate, and highly ineffective... and Hagan will beat her to a mush. With each passing day, the Jesse Helms bigot vote diminshes. Thanks to high tech and Andy Griffith's efforts, North Carolina is overcoming it's sordid past. Bowles would have beaten Dole in 2002 if not for the fact he could not attack a woman candidate. Now, we have a women's roller derby campaign and Hagan can beat the crap out of Dole without be called sexist, a beating that Dole justly deserves.
