  • This is so much better than I ever imagined it could be...he is taking over the whole party!! He is....organizing!!! I so love it, and I feel so energized by all of this!! We have a chance to fix the crap-hole that bush dug.

  • I agree, Arianna, that fear has been so over-used in the last 8 years. If there were no 9/11... there would be no Iraq occupation, and there would be 4,100 people still with us, and tens of thousands whole and healthy. Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of Iraqis still whole and alive. When I see Barack speak, he has a way of lifting his chin...he has a serenity, composure, he gives me a kind of peace. He has no animosity, no hate, no "stick". He has intelligence, empathy, curiousity, and a seemingly unfailing kindness. He does not seem to have too much ego..though I know he must have a good bit to be able to run for this office. I think his wife and children hold him down to earth. He is a very level person. No highs, no lows. Thank god he is willing to help this country...we need help very badly.

  • Why would you want her shut up? She is not being paid by anyone. She is doing this pretty much on her own. In other words...she is a free agent. I hated her report on Obama and his 'bitter' comments. But, it was the truth, and he had to answer it. Good practice. Good old Bill got caught in a little 'truthiness' this time. If it keeps Hillary off the ticket...God Bless. Grow up...this time is a new time. Everything is documented one way or another. That is why we have Jim Webb over 'Macacca" Allen. Only good comes from truth. Remember that when you watch Mcbush blow his top sometime very soon.....

  • LisB...Your story should be required reading for Mcbush and all his buddies. How they can have the arrogance to think that they should have rights over women's bodies amazes me. I just read the other day that there was going to be a demonstration against BIRTH CONTROL!!!
When I read your story, and I read the responses here, I have great faith that this country will be ok as soon as we have President Obama. We are coming back to our senses!!!

  • You ask a very good question. I don't think you will get a good answer. I have been knocked off message boards because I was for Obama, not Clinton. No discussion...just gone. There is no logic with these people. If you watched the Committee hearings today, you noticed that there were very vocal Clinton supporters. They wanted all votes for Hillary, and zero votes for Obama. No concessions, no way. As I said...no logic.
I will go out on a limb and say that I think the whole problem is one of entitlement. Hillary and her supporters knew without a doubt that she would be President. Nothing else would do. As for the 'racist' part of all this...I really don't think they are racists. I think they saw a wedge, and jumped in. Think about it...they had nothing else. Rev.Wright failed, 'bitter' failed, she threw back a shot, and that failed. Bosnia failed, 3AM failed...man, we are running out of stuff. Racists are all we have left. Hell...even gas prices failed. Race is a winner. Not. No more...we are sick of division, hate, and fear. Sorry, Hillary...doesn't work any more.

  • The vote for Florida was unanimous. I live in Fl...and I voted for Obama. I also live in Pensacola, so you know I am a fish out of water. I pretty much thought the vote would go that way on Fl...but, Mich. is a mess. The Clinton supporters wanted to blame the Obama campaign for taking their name off the ballot. It was a 'mistake in strategy'. Sorry...it was a mistake in strategy by the Mich. Dem. Party. they wanted to make a stand, and they lost. Better luck next time. But there is no way Hillary would get her votes and obama would get none. I feel like justice was done today, and I am very impressed with the Committee and how they handled things. The 'protesters' did Clinton no good. They hurt her campaign. Made her look like a loon. I guess now we wait for Clinton to either conceed, or fight on to the convention. If she does fight on...say hello to President McBush.

  • I remember...it was a while back, when we MoveOn members were asked to vote for a candidate. The winning candidate must get more than 60% of the vote. That was a high bar to pass at that time. Well BHO made that hurdle very easily, and we have backed him whole-heartedly since then. They get 15 bucks a month from me, and I am proud to say I am a member. Hillary can have her Rupert and limpballs, and all her repub talking points...you know, the lies she tells...and march off into the sunset. I am supposedly her supporter...a 57 year-old female. HA!! FAT CHANCE!!

  • There is one other person in this campaign that is taking this plunge that you can't forget...Michelle. She is a very brave, tough, and smart lady. You know that she has thought about the many awful things that could, and some of which will, happen. The Clintons are giving the Obamas just a little taste. As much as I despise the Clintons for what they are doing, maybe it is a good thing...practise makes perfect.

I will admit that I have half-held my breath for months. Every punch by the Clintons hurts. We just have to have faith that he is going to be able to fight his way through the muck and mire. He has done better than I had ever hoped......

  • My three-year-old grandson is fond of saying.."When I get big, I am going to be a monster truck driver, and President of the United States like Barack Hussein Obama". Obviously, he does not see any problems with a name, as you seem to. I think it is time you got at least as big as a three-year-old.

  • Again...I thank you all for lifting me out of the blue funk caused by the pundits and various other bloviators on this subject. You have told us all the truth as it really is, not as Hillary/Bomb-Bomb want us to see it. I am sick to the bottom of my soul of Hillary and her crap. I wish I could just pull the covers over my head until the real election....
