  • I'm no Harvey Weinstein, but I've also stopped giving money to Pelosi and Dean, since they've banished me to the nerd lunch table.

Yeah, I know I suck. Don't bother ripping me--good riddance and all that. I know I'm not worthy.

  • It's not really a canard. Right now it's true. And since Obama is "inevitable", it doesn't matter what Clinton can or can't do.

But maybe Obama can defeat McCain without the help of bitter white losers. He can just fire up his base.

  • Clinton never really had a chance with the superdelegates because they're more afraid of an intraparty Obamabot backlash than of an Obama loss to McCain. Electability? Who cares? Democrats lose presidential races all the time. It's no big deal.

The important thing is that the country not be deprived of its current stellar Democratic leadership team.

  • I have no intention of voting for McCain, but neither do I plan to vote for Obama. It might be different if Obama supporters didn't reinforce Donna Brazile's party-shrinking analysis.

  • Pat Buchanan nailed it on MSNBC--Obama is too much "faculty lounge".

Can he beat anybody not named Alan Keyes?

  • Obama's hope and change routine is out of carbonation, and he hasn't come up with anything to replace it with. He looks bored. You can tell he just wants to be coronated. That's why people are starting to see him as an elitist. He only perks up when his former pastor begins to irritate him.

But around here everything is always Hillary's fault.

  • Is this really a big deal? Is it even a small deal?

Maybe it was better when we had to wait for Theodore H. White to write "The Making of the President, 19__". He left this stuff out.

  • So Wright's extreme views don't matter until he "makes a mockery of Obama's campaign"? That's integrity?

Wright was A-OK when he was part of Obama's power base in Chicago. Now he's expendable.

  • Presumably, Obama's previous stiff-arming of FOX was a major factor in snagging their coveted endorsement. (I used to feel obligated to read their stupid emails every day. After they were assimilated into the ObamaBorg, I left the fold.
