I've been on that train through Wilmington plenty of times, which made the imagery work for me. Of course, that also makes me a certified East Coast Liberal, so here's to hoping the rest of America found it persuasive. Personally, I'll bet they did -- great line. Looking forward to this guy being our next vice president.

It sounds utterly paranoid, but this was my first thought. The story is just virtually unbelievable otherwise. I'd like to see someone look into her past to see if there's evidence of ANY prior political involvement.

What I'd really like to see is an enterprising reporter dig deeper into her past. Which primaries has she voted in? How did she wind up as a Clinton delegate? Any dirt out there on her? She's made herself a public figure; if someone wants to look into what preceded that, seems like fair play to me...

I think it's patently obvious that the white, er, hard-working, er, Republican Party is full of hard-working Americans, white Americans, and I resent anyone suggesting otherwise.

Actually I'm pretty sure I read earlier today that unless I hear it straight from Hillary it's false, and anyone in the big, bad ol' media who tries to tell me different is a lying liar.

Actually, he's won thirty states. So, yeah, more than 20, but a little misleading the way you put it.
Let's write ten of those off, folly though it may be. But what the hell, it's your scenario, let's indulge it.
Two more you say we can toss into that bin. And evidently three more are only winnable if your name is "Clinton." Whatever.
By my count that leaves fifteen states voting for Obama, all of which -- by your metric -- are reliably blue. How many states has Clinton won again?

I was just going to ask, has Zogby ever been right? I used to LOVE his polls, since they always gave me warm fuzzies about my favored candidates, but these days I pretty much ignore anything with his name on it.
Come to think of it, that's pretty much what I do with every poll at this point. But subjectively, Zogby seems worst than most.
