  • : One Man Army
  • : John James Rambo was born on July 6, 1947 in Bowie, Arizona to a Native American Navajo father and a mother of German descent. Rambo graduated from Rangeford High School in 1965, and then was drafted into the United States Army at the age of 18 on January 2, 1966. He was deployed to South Vietnam in September of 1966. He returned to the U.S. in 1967 and began training in the Special Forces (Green Berets) at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In late 1969, Rambo was re-deployed to Vietnam. In November 1971, he was captured by North Vietnamese forces near the Chinese-Vietnamese border and held at a POW camp, where he and other American POWs were repeatedly tortured. Rambo in his capture, held rigorously in south-vietnaam so to act completely kept as resource under kinetic stress incase they needed him as a hostage. Rambo escaped captivity in May 1972, but was then re-deployed. Rambo was honorably discharged from the Army on September 17, 1974. His highest and final paygrade is unknown. Upon his return to the U.S., Rambo discovered that many American civilians hated the returning soldiers, and he himself was subject to humiliation and embarrassment by having anti-war "hippies" throw garbage at him and calling him "baby killer". His experiences in Vietnam and back home resulted in an extreme case of post-traumatic stress disorder. At the same time, inner questions of self identity and reflectiveness cause Rambo to lash out at society rather than handling difficult situations in a "civilized" manner.

  • Spending most of the last few decades in foreign countries battling despotic regimes hasn't left JJR with a lot of time for watching the television, but now that I'm back at home in Bowie, Arizona I find some time to check it out every so often. Mostly it's not all that impressive, but on Friday night I learned of a terrible secret: Sinbad has been lying to us.

I direct your attention to the following video at the 3:40 mark.

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=57MVLPYm2Ko

That's right: Sinbad is Special Forces. It would appear that it was no mistake that Sinbad was sent into Bosnia along with HRC. It would ALSO appear that Sinbad is afflicted with the very same warrior's modesty.

Sinbad, given this recent revelation that you are a fellow soldier JJR will not disrespect your recent endorsement, but this is your chance to finally come clean with us once and for all.

Stand tall my brother! We have been silent for too long.

  • Though this is only part of the story, JJR can vouch for the authenticity of this tale. HRC is a Real American Hero™!

  • If only JJR had known that Sinbad was rocking in out in South East Asia! We totally could have partied. Er, I mean, we could have fought and captured cobras for prize money to help out at the monastery. Yeah.

  • JJR thanks you for your endorsement. I apologize for not being as funny as Sinbad, but there's nothing funny about what happens out on the battlefield.. battlefields like the Tuzla tarmac.

  • Then take the word of JJR:

I think my record speaks for itself.

  • Sinbad!

JJR demands that you stop trying to bury the truth of Hell on Earth that was the tarmac in Tuzla. Brave men died and that day and you spit on their memory every time you repeat these lies. I'd hate to have to come after you the way that I had to go after the Russians in Afghanistan after they captured Col. Trautman. Let me remind you of two very important facts:

    1. I can fire an M60 from the hip.

    2. My knife has constantly increased in size since the early 80s.

HRC deserves her due! Not only should she be the next CiC, she should also be the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Pentagon, the DHS and the EPA. In fact, we could execute a complete troop withdrawal from Iraq right now if they would just send HRC and JJR over there to handle business.

  • You're absolutely right. Looks like someone was able to capture some of the real footage. JJR stands vindicated:

  • True warriors like JJR and HRC never need to employ codpieces, staged photo ops or ridiculous banners like that panty-waist GWB. Our honor is our service. That's why she was so modest about what really happened. I was going to respect her modesty until the anti-HRC cabal that runs the MSM came out of the woodwork like Charlie to slander her good name.

G-DUB reminds me of that coward Murdock. Makes me sick.

  • Thanks. It's not often that JJR has gotten recognition for his service. It's unfortunate that I had to rely on my warrior's prowess when all I wanted was a little something to eat. That diner looked like it would have whipped up a tasty lunch.

JJR would have loved to fight at your side in Michigan. Unfortunately, I had to spend the 80's doing time for the events you describe, trying to rescue POWs in Vietnam, helping out Buddhists in Thailand and rescuing Col. Trautman from the Russians in Afghanistan. As much as I'd love to be in every battle there's only one JJR. Unfortunately, they broke the mold when they made this soldier.

  • I have no idea. Maybe you should ask Rocky Balboa.
