Whatever CNN shows, the tracking polls have shown a big move towards Obama in the past week as have many state polls. When the Republican is 5-10 down in PA and fighting to keep it even in NC, Virginia and INdiana, you know he's in trouble.

Brokaw's efforts to suck up to the McCain folks severely compromises his ability to moderate the debate evenhandedly. You can be sure that to prove his word to the McCain folks, he will be gentle in the debate.

What's up with that?! With party breakdown of Dem+9 and it's tied? Something's not right. This feels like a 4-8 point race and even Rass, which only has Dems at +5-6 has Obama up 3 and surging?. What gives?

I think Team McCain is paranoid that he's going to stop looking competitive and if that happens the bottom might fall out, especially if looks more and more desperate. I do hope that Team Obama does not get complacent and does not let up, especially during the debates because Johnny Mac is going to come out swinging. Now is the time to bury McCain, if possible.
