Obama Already Has Coattails.
So, it’s mid-February, it’s nine months to the general election, and already Barack Obama is showing that he has very real coattails. Yesterday, Donna Edwards, a Maryland lawyer and social activist, won the Democratic primary election for the 4th District...more »

Greg, do comments like this one above drive readers away from this site? I've never seen you take a position on this crucial matter.
Thanks for taking this into consideration.

It's the Washington Times. They probably picked that quote because it showed "liberal bias" while at the same time containing mistakes which made it look semi-literate. I think that they're hoping that in pointing out the exchange, they also send a message to Greg and Erik that someone is watching the context that TPM uses with regard to McCain while they have this access.
It is interesting that they keep tabs on the comments here though.

I applaud this article from the Reverend Moon's Washington Times, as publicising TPM on such an outlet for loudmouthed neoconservatives will only lead to better and more unhinged and semi-literate trolls.
Let the floodgates be opened.

Honestly, check it out. Matthews is a truly strange guy who'll sometimes do and say very bizarre things, but he has his lines he won't allow to be crossed and he has his moments of brilliance. Both of those came into play there, and it was worth watching.

Yeah, I have to agree. I usually love gotalife's unhinged trolling, but this one was a curiously lame effort. He's resorted to just copy/pasting AP updates, and throwing in something about Kool Aid.
Better trolls please.

He said troops would be out of Iraq by 2013.
He also unequivocally said that there WOULD be more wars...

This is a great argument, and to his everlasting credit, it's one that Chris Matthews just used on Hardball to absolutely destroy some loudmouthed Republican talking head trying to spread that same talk = appeasement lie.
Hopefully, the rest of the media takes as intellectually honest a look at these argument.

It's becoming increasingly clear to me that McCain and the Republican party is in for a HUGE loss in November. The fact that McCain's had to go directly to this card already is very bad news for him and his campaign.
I can't wait until the fall.
