  • Obama's campaign is clearly signaling that if he is the nominee, he will move to have Florida and Michigan seated with 100% votes (probably at the convention). Smart move, which will further defuse what is already a fizzling movement to challenge the DNC Rules Committee compromise.

  • As recently as a few months ago, Hillary was well ahead of Obama among African-Americans. It took Bill's comments in South Carolina and other foolish comments by the Clintons to turn black voters against them. She really screwed the pooch on this one (one of her campaigns countless errors, all of which add up to her blowing her big lead and institutional support and basically handing the nomination to this "skinny kid with a funny name".

  • Obama has written off KY and WV. His campaign appears to understand American racism fairly well and know they can't win there. This latest Hillary gaffe also reminds us that he is probably less safe there. (Remember, JFK was warned not to go to Dallas.)

  • Obama should not waste his time resources in KY and WV. His campaign seems to have realized that already. They appear to understand American racism fairly well and know they can't win there. This latest Hillary gaffe also reminds us that he is probably less safe there. (Remember, JFK was warned not to go to Dallas.)

  • The idea that Obama's supporters need to bend over backwards to avoid offending Hillary's supporters is ridiculous. It's been a hard-fought campaign, but it's time to rally around the nominee. Do you want better health care or not? Do you want women to be able to control their own bodies or not? Do you want young Americans to stop being killed in a counterproductive (and criminal) war or not? Do you want to end a tax policy that soaks the rich while leaving working family out in the cold or not? Let's get real folks. It's been fun fighting, but it's time to focus on what is actually important.

  • Very high-minded to say the affair and non-marital child mean nothing. But this is about hypocrisy. Congressman Fossella is a family values conservative who voted to impeach Bill Clinton.

I hope he runs. The NY media will drag him through the mud until he is either defeated in November or even more humiliated than he is today (if that's possible).
