Seems Obama brings out the best in so many of us.
But he sure brought out the worst in Hillary.
How much has she damaged her credibility these last several months and her future in the party?
Will there be a productive place for her in the kind of party BHO will be trying to build?

Too the Young Smugs like Greg Sargent, it's almost all boilerplate. There are no foundation values, just boilerplate and novelty.
Hey, it's like the Declaration of Independence: boilerplate.
The Constitution and the Bill of Rights: boilerplate.
The Gettysburg Address: boilerplate.
Any eloguent expression of basic values: boilerplate.
Bring on the novelty!

Very good post. Great comments.
Watch how Barack deals with this stuff:
He rises above it, lables it, then -- with humor and gentle mockery -- drives a stiletto into its heart. This is like MLK at his best: provoke them to behave at their worst, then shine a light on that behavior for all to see.
The outcome? All but the most rabid and ignorant of their supporters then quietly fall away.
Isn't that what's been happening for better than 2 months now?

The Clinton crew don't seem to have respected the hospital enough to have first checked to see whether the story was true.
Is this yet another example of HC's "CinC" propensity to assume she's automatically right, so why do any homework?
And to surround herself with yes-people who lack the courage to tell her she's going off half-cocked?

Clinton Camp:
“In this case, we did try but were not able to fully vet it."
... fully .... ?
How much is that? Any effort, at all? I doubt it.
This is just the kind of weasel-talk we've all come to expect from Hillary.
How can anyone trust this woman?

One after another, again and again, this guy brings substance, nuance, and eloquence to the serious issues facing this country.
How could we not elect him to lead us?

How deep is your head stuck down into that sand?
Paleodan,
What did you do? Drop the stats course just after margin of error but before trends?
