If McCain wants to promote himself as an agent of change, I think we're entitled to ask why he's running as a Republican, since that's the party that has created the state of affairs he claims to want to change.

Maybe the FBI could've gotten some traction if they'd said the guys were looking to commit a terrorist act at a football stadium, rather than conspiring to kill a black guy.

I like that lieberman is calling McCain "the original maverick." Given McCain's fossiliferous nature, the claim just might be true.

I think the reason McCain picked Sarah Palin has less to do with thoughts of revenge or political calculation and more to do with the fact that he thinks she's hot.

Does belonging to a separatist party count as not putting America first?
Or maybe this will be one more thing the right wing will use to promote Palin as "one of us." I mean, after all, how many women are married to guys who don't share their values and who are always doing something to keep their wives from reaching their full potential.
Sarah knows the pain and difficulties of living with a typical American husband; unlike Michelle Obama, who lives with an elitist, arugula eating, supportive Prince Charming.
