  • Obama couldn't carry McCain's JockStrap!

Of course not. How could he when it's clenched tightly between your teeth?

  • McCain, you should just STFU while you still have a future in Pepsi commercials. The more you flap your lips, the goofier you sound. You can't even remember what you said in the morning to keep from contradicting yourself in the afternoon. If you're going to keep taking your talking points from Bush, you might as well concede right now.

  • You can go now, RaePublican. Buh-Bye.

  • If John McCain thinks that it's wrong to speak with our enemies (or, in this case, potential enemies) then he must be committed to war. Apparently, he believes that the only way to prevent war is to wage war.

There's a powerful lesson in our own history we should look to. If the 'negotiators' hadn't had the more persuasive voice in John F. Kennedy's cabinet, the Cuban Missile Crisis could have erupted into war. Parts of the southeastern United States and island nations in the Caribbean might still be in a state of devastation as a result of it.

  • It wasn't nasty at all. We've listened to Hillary supporters justify the Kitchen Sink strategy as "nothing personal, just how politics is done."

This was perfect timing. It wasn't done out of spite, it was done to turn off the media attention to Hillary right after her one insignificant victory in a campaign that's already on life support. It was a highly effective maneuver. If she could have done it, she would have, in a heartbeat.

This is why Obama should be the nominee. Aside from leading in every category that counts towards a nomination, aside from having all of the super delegate defections moving in his direction, aside from raising vastly more money than Hillary and spending it wisely and not being in debt, and aside from bringing in what are likely several millions of new voters, he is just so much better at running a campaign than Hillary and her people.

She should have closed the deal back on Super Tuesday. That was the plan, wasn't it? Why couldn't she close the deal? Because she's surrounded by incompetents, that's why. Like Bush, she picked people for their loyalty, not for their expertise. It's another sign that he's ready for the Oval Office and she's not.

  • Crawford used to be pretty reasonable, but for some reason he seems to have invested everything in Hillary winning and he gets frantic when he's faced with the reality of the situation.

  • It's over. It's really really over. It's really and truly and thoroughly over.

And boy would it suck to be Present, Gotalife, Fogu2, Dembillc, etc. You guys do realize it's over now, don't you?

  • I think this would be an appropriate time for a quote from "Blazing Saddles":

"Oh, blow it out your ass, Howard."

  • I'm not surprised to find out that her eyes-popping-finger-pointing routine that we see at every single solitary public appearance is as phony as her tales of heroic exploits in Bosnia.

Stephen Colbert ran a loop of her performing her pre-election "point-point-clap-clap" ritual that was gleaned from several campaign appearances. I suppose she's just practicing her presidential poses, hoping to someday imitate Dubya's 'waving to nobody as he boards Marine One'.

  • I can think of two conditions that should be met before he could even consider it:

    1) She needs to stop running against him
    2) Lose Bill. Get Hugh Hefner to rent out a wing of the Playboy Mansion to him and he'd never be seen or heard from again.
