It's another attempt by McCain as TPM has pointed out, to make the Iraq war debate all about the surge and nothing about the 4 years prior to it. I personally, don't know if the surge worked or not,...there's no proof that the small reduction in violence is directly linked to the surge. Maybe it was political progress or a seize fire agreement or maybe they were done ethnically cleansing the areas by that point....who knows?. Of course this is not the argument Obama should even try to attempt and he won't. But the fact remains,...is McCain want's more War and he want's the American people to pay for it permanently,....it's the biggest racketeering job that any political party has done to this country in a long time, especially one based on false threats!!!!

Yeah Rudy is the genius amongst idiots,....so Cuba is roughly 100 miles away from Florida and American oil rights are around 200+ miles,....so really we should be able to drill right in downtown Havana under his theories of genius. These type of Republicans are what's wrong with American standing in the world,....all they cry out is "it's mine,mine,mine,mine.....me,me,me,me,me,me". This is rich when he says "it would much better if american companies would do the drilling". If only these assholes would say that about most manufacturing jobs that are sent to China.

Well,....Obama is playing his cards on what future attacks he will endure over the religion question....he's letting it be known that he's a bonafide Christian. Since for some reason, in this country,...it's not good enough just drinking the Jesus Juice,...you gotta wear and promote your sponsership to become president. He's trying to take the advantage in which is usually Republican owned,...but McCain's image isn't as bonafide with the super-christ out there. Personally, I still think that the anti-war movement and economy is enough grounds to win,....but it seems that Obama is covering his bases on the attacks by playing more central.

Well,...I don't hear the McCain camp arguing any of Clark's points that McCain exactly has not made wartime decisions. That video was a great display of journalist fanaticism,....the only thing that is disparaging is the quality of journalism that is happening in the US,....these people on TV are like little kids on the playground fighting for their turn to show off their ego. When will the journal opinion tools ever be held accountable for all the BS they invent?
