This is GREAT news for John McCain because he's behind by two points in Ohio.

However, in the original Political article, Freedom's Watch says they won't be working toward the presidential race:
Further, Freedom’s Watch, the one third-party group that many conservatives expected to step into the void left by PFA, has decided to exclusively focus on congressional battles.
Asked if was still the intent of Freedom’s Watch to stay out of the presidential fray, Carl Forti, the group’s director, flatly said: “Yes.”

If I was a conservative millionaire, that's where I would put my money -- senate and congressional races. I think lots of GOP bigwigs realize the presidential race is all but lost.

Congress is still rather weak -- in spite of a rather large democratic majority. Faint praise here for Hoyer or Pelosi or Waxman.

I hate it when Obama's ahead by two, but they say it is a tie. Two is better than really tied. It is amazing that any democrat is ahead in Virginia!

McCain's campaign definitely has that reek of ad hoc about it. He has no theme, or plan, for America. Come to think of it, he doesn't have a plan for Iraq -- not once has he offered any ideas to improve the outcome of the Iraq mess.
