  • Dateline, October 8, 2008:

Senator Hillary Clinton today held a private rally-the-troops conference call with her supporters this afternoon, urging them to believe that "this race is not over," vowing to them she'd promote Dem unity after the election, and conceding that she knows what they and the party are going through "is not easy."

  • I don't think you do. Sniffing glue does not provide a good buzz.

  • I'm 50 - that means I'm AARP. I'm not "younger" generation. What you wrote is nonsense.

I detect no hatred for the "older" generation from our young 'uns - just hatred (or bitterness, if you prefer) for the bullshit that's been going on for so long. And I'm with them 100% on that.

Hillary has a big following but a majority of Hillary voters are going to vote for Obama - and as noted by someone earlier, the ones who storm off angrily and refuse to vote for Obama will be replaced by new voters. Obama has already PROVEN he can bring in large numbers of new voters - Hillary has not.

She's finished. He won fairly - he hasn't stolen the election like she would have to do to win. Even if FL & MI get counted as legit (which they never were) he still wins.

In 32 years of voting for Democrats nearly every candidate I ever voted for lost - it's time for you to start getting over this and move on. He's the candidate - either help or get out of the way.

  • Could one of you who is touting Hillary as Obama's VP please explain - seriously - how he can run with Lady MacBeth and Doogie Howser MacBeth sucking up all the oxygen in the campaign?

Nothing Obama says will be heard or even noticed with Doogie announcing that McCain's dog don't hunt and Lady MacBeth going off message because she wants everyone to know Obama will drop nukes on Iran if she tells him to.

We're not talking about an average candidate who did well in the primaries and seems capable of being a good team player. We're talking about two for the price of one: two widely detested, self-obsessed loudmouths who will say or do anything to have their way and then lie about ever having said it. Not good material for VP, not good for Obama, not good for the country. Please stop. Now. Please.

  • I detect some uncertainty...

  • Sorry - but by September when the general election is in full swing no one will be thinking about Hillary at all except a few desperate characters like Gonadlife and D-imbecilic. Everyone will be focusing on Obama and... (fill-in-the-blank-but-it-won't-be-Hillary).

Instead of spending the fall having Hillary explain why she said all those awful, un-take-backable, despicable things about Obama we'll be listening to real ideas about how to change things so that we can move beyond the shitstained diaperpail Bush and the Clintons have made of our country (sorry for the run-on senetence).

I want NONE of my donated money going to that lousy creep. She can hold her own goddamn fundraisers or she can take a financial bath on her "loans." I don't want anyone interfering with Obama's ability to govern as he chooses - and the Clintons would gladly set this country - or President Obama and his wife & children - on fire to have their way.

Sorry - no sale. The Clinton crowd can get over losing fair and square to a winner who ran a better campaign - PERIOD. The alternative is they will marginalize themselves out of the Democratic Party. Which frankly would be no sweat off my 50 year old white, working class balls.

After the way they've conducted themselves they're lucky if anyone in this party ever talks to them again. I can't believe I ever voted for these evil, selfish people.

  • Well, if Hillary still can't figure out that she's lost you shouldn't be too hard on yourself.
