there's nothing wrong at all with being 'sensitive' to every McCain rove-like attack. it's because you care supremely about the country and you know/we know, Obama and Biden do also. McCain sold his POW gained principles down the river when he saddled up with Rove and his proteges, and decided to listen to the Neo-cons and their whisperings of sweet-nukings, all done in order to further his staggering ambition to win the keys to the White House. it sticks in your craw, and mine too, when he attacks Obama for getting in his way to that end. he attacks him spitefully and viciously and unprincipally. McCain has shown himself for what he really is: a real elitist, out-of-touch, reactionary, thin-skinned, petulant, and unprincipled. thank you for service, sir, but that sacrifice doesn't translate into automaticaly getting the job of President (no matter what hannity thinks). you could've taken the high-road, the one that 2000 version of you did, and perhaps it might've gotten you somewhere this election season. but you didn't. for that you should be ashamed of yourself. you really are better than that. i used to think so at least.

this is outrageous b shit. McCain didnt bother to show up and vote 'no' against the GI bill, instead he was at a fundraiser. putting himself first, and not the country on that count. thank you for your service, sir, but you are not fit to be president if you attack your opponent like this. you are an old fool. what an utter sellout. principles, what principles?!? he sold them to Karl Rover.

hey self-loathing person, whomever you are...McCain is 25 YEARS OLDER than Obama, so he naturally has had more time to do things in life, including accomplishments and failings in whatever abundance, by this mere FACT. so get a clue, not my brother, and object to Obama for substantive reasons, if you must, but not for petty and superficial things. including his birth year and time which he had no control over. idiot.

just curious, troll, but do you know if Obama has ever had a martini at the Hay-Adams? for that matter, have you? and, no, I haven't. but i want someone with a high-intellect to tackle the problems that we face in this country for the next 4 years. thanks to uncaring fools like yourself we got Bush eight years ago, and look where that got us. pretty much nowhere. he's anti-curious and intellectual. with serious problems of these times, I'd think you'd want someone with an intellect and a serious temperament, not given to overt emotion, to handle those problems. perhaps you don't care enough about this country to want, or maybe never did. oh, and McCain won't bring that. if these are the two choices we have: Obama is the choice. i'll take his 'potential' over McCain's 'experience'.

Obama should time his visit to the State Fair in Palmer, Alaska. that would maximize the number of potential voters who can see and hear him. that would be a huge story and would guarantee national coverage, as Alaska has been reliably a GOP stronghold. it seems not any more. at least not this election cycle. and he should visit Fairbanks, if possible, to bolster the support from the GOP mayor who recently endorsed him. it's a sure win-win for Dems, no matter what happens in Nov.

its not straight talk, its slant talk. hes talking out of the corner of his mouth. he hired karl rovers goons to do his talking for him. he stopped caring a long time ago about issues that affect americans, but hes always cared about winning the presidency. what a shame.

Thank you for a great post and God Bless the troops who courageously and with much honor do their duty, day in and day out. but let no one forget: being against the policy is not anti-troops. if anyone thinks they are is just wrong, and always will be. the policy was wrong and always will be wrong. the Iraq war should never have been waged. the troops always do their duty no matter what, and always do it for the right reasons: following orders. the orders were were wrong here. the troops expect that the civilian leaders have their best interests at heart, and the countrys interests at heart when they set out on a course of war. well, Bush and Cheney let our troops down, and in a big way. they made an ill-advised, ill-considered, and ill-planned decision to invade and occupy a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 and Al-Qaeda. Bush has shown that he romanticizes war, even wanting to be their with the troops, when he has no concept at all what war really is. i dont either, as i wasnt in the military. but i dont presume to know either. bush and cheney and rumsfeld did, and they were wrong. may they be eternally ashamed of their reckless decisions about iraq. i doubt they will. but im not surprised. god bless the usa.

McCain thank you for your service, sir. But when you sold your principles to Karl Rove and his minions and to the neo-cons advising you on foreign policy just to win an election, at any cost, that's when you lost me for sure. You are not honorable, sir, anymore. The version of you in 2000 wouldnt vote for the old tired fool that we see before us now. You are a shadow of that former 'man'. shame on you.
