Clinton and Tuzla: The Symptom and the Disease
Clinton's Bosnia tale is a perfect fit for modern media. easily summarized, sensationally brash, and complete with video.but this idiotic lie isn't her biggest problem on the larger subject, though it does point to some psychological issues smart voters should...more »

this attempt at logic is idiotic. using the same formula, we should advocate for Obama to pick President Bush as his VP.
the fact is, it's time to turn the page on all of it. the Clintons, the Bushes, and the entire left v. right dichotomy. Hillary Clinton embodies counterproductive partisanship and petty politics more than any person in either party outside of the current administration. we want to move past that, not invite it to play a more significant role.

holy shit, Obama has an insurmountable lead in delegates? this is NEWS!
welcome to 2 months ago. everyone with a brain stem saw it, but you "news outlets" kept trying to pretend it was an actual race still. it's not. it was over after February. i'd have a lot more respect for TPM if you had just accepted that fact.

so he would have voted differently on the most important vote in my lifetime, but not on the subsequent, far less consequential votes.
is that seriously your defense? a continuation of funding once a war is underway is simply not comparable to the initiation of war in the first place. if you can't see the difference, it's no wonder you're voting for Clinton.

except that Obama has also won an Illinois state senate race as well as 2 re-elections to that office.
oh, and the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination.

who cares what an obscure left-radical group did 40 years ago? does anyone? i don't care about Clinton or Obama's involvement with any of it's members 40 years after the fact.
that said, yes, we know Clinton is an unrepentant hypocrite. is that news either? does it surprise anyone? do we need to rehash the corruption and thoughtlessness of the previous Clinton administration any more than we need to rehash the culture wars of the 60's?

if you're voting on a single, highly debatable issue....
you're an idiot.
there are many very strong, clear reasons why Obama is the best candidate in this election, or even in a generation. these reasons are easily found and considered by anyone willing to read articles about Obama in newspapers or blogs with anything resembling an objective frame of reference.
Krugman has degenerated into inanity when he talks about politics. his columns are painfully predictable and he's lost a great deal of respect.

you poor naive people who don't understand the #1 rule about posting on the internet.
DO NOT. FEED. THE TROLLS.
Gotalife is not a Clinton supporter. he is not here to promote or defend his candidate. he's not even a bad supporter, though often the line between true troll and fanatic Clinton supporter is a thin one. he just wants to get a rise of out responders. he is the former; a classic internet troll.
trying to have conversations with a troll just makes the comments sections look bad for any neutral parties taking note. if you leave him alone and stop trying to engage him he will go away. please do that.
