She's also a pathological liar. Her credibility has been shattered through her theatrics, exaggerations, and "kitchen sink" nonsense. She's burned too many bridges to make this happen. Also, besides the fact that the "hard working white Americans" who wouldn't vote for Obama because of his race, won't be inclined to do so with her as the VP. In addition, she's consistently praised McSame in deference to Obama and will act as the most engergizing force amongst the GOP than anything else could be in a year where their base is dispirited.

Does anybody actually believe a word that comes out of his mouth anymore. He is a serial liar, and has absolutely no credibility. All along he's just been worried that his status as the Democratic rock star would be replaced by Obama, and that's it. He's all washed up, like the aging former sports star who just doesn't know when to hang it up.

Clinton's vast foreign policy experience led her to vote for the Iraq War Authorization and the Kyl-Lieberman Amendment. I'll take the guy who was against each of these farces over a proven triangulating fraud any day of the week. So she trusted Bush on Iraq and she did it again on Iran. Unreal.

Obama's camp is driving the negatives? Don't you recall the "kitchen sink" strategy? Or perhaps
1. The Commander in Chief threshold
2. That McCain has experience and Barack has a speech.
3. Bob Kerrey with his comments in IA about Barack's Muslim background and madrassa schooling
4. Bob Johnson about his youth drug use
5. The "he's not a Muslim, as far as I know?"
6. Tubbs-Jones on "why is he embarrassed of a picture of him in his "native" clothing?"
7. Rezko, Rezko, Rezko!
8. He's Ken Starr for asking about Tax Returns, White House papers, and Library Donors. The outrage!
I could go on and on, but these are some of the greatest hits. Please. Barack Obama has been winning the nomination by playing by the rules and winning contests in all states, not just "big" states. We have Democrats nationwide and Congress members from all 50 states that must not be neglected. I'm willing to support the Democratic candidate, because McCain is another four years of George W. Bush. What we cannot have is a fractured party when the country on the brink of disaster.Posted at March 17, 2008 10:01 PM in response to Why Clinton voters are not joining Obama

Hillary did this very thing last week during her whole 'McCain and I crossed the the threshold for Commander in Chief' event. It sickening how she can float this VP nonsense after saying he's not qualified. She's clearly trying to convince undecideds who like both candidates that they can have both if they vote for her. She really will do or say anything to win. Pathetic.

She's only stating what many of us feel. Her recent comments praising John McCain and denigrating Obama are the final straw for me. I could not support her if she was the nominee at this point. Especially how they twisted the NAFTA story when it was one of their staffers that told the Canadians to take the rhetoric "with a grain of salt". The damage is done, but hopefully she'll stop trying to make Obama radioactive for the general election.

It looks like the New York Times and Newsweek are coming out with their hit pieces on Obama via Tony Rezko. Of course neither have any proof of illegal or unethical activity, but they surely imply it.

I certainly hope this isn't played up out of context, but since I have no faith in the media, except for Olbermann, it's going to be a rough couple of days.Posted at March 2, 2008 1:34 AM in response to Obama Running New Ads In Texas

One thing to note is that the story from the Observer was posted today and is unambiguous.
Goolsbee Denies Canadian NAFTA Story
by Jason Horowitz | February 29, 2008I just spoke very briefly to Austan Goolsbee, the Obama campaign economic advisor who CTV has identified as the aide who purportedly suggested to the Canadian government officials that Obama’s harsh rhetoric against NAFTA was less than heartfelt. I asked Goolsbee if any such meeting or call had taken place.
“It is a totally inaccurate story,” he said. “I did not call these people and I direct you to the press office.”
The Obama campaign, and Obama himself, have also said the story isn't accurate, but have mostly avoided specifics about the call itself.
The Clinton campaign, correctly sensing an opportunity to make hay of this in labor-centric Ohio, is apparently unsatisfied with those denials, and will have a conference call on the CTV report at noon.
