I turned off MSNBC's coverage last evening once I heard Pat Buchanan express his delight that West Virginia will "rejoin the Confederacy" with today's vote . . . and nobody picked up on it.
When is somebody going to pension off that antideluvian jackass?

You really have to wonder how many of those people really believe what they're saying, and how many are just Clintonite shills trying to make it look good.

But you want a McCain Presidency, don't you? I mean, there's really no meaningful difference between McCain and Clinton. Both are committed to unending war in Iraq; both will devote their Presidencies to maintaining our system of terror, exploitation and global dominance (what is generally called 'Democracy' in the MSM). Where is there a difference.
See, you make it sound as though something will be at stake if Clinton is the nominee. Isn't the goal of proto-fascists such as yourself to have two fundamentally interchangeable candidates, thus insuring stability for all (for all who count, anyway)?

Amazing how many people seem to think that whatever squirts through this news cycle will critically inform what happens in November.

Exactly so. I'm convinced the remaining Superdelegates are waiting for just that moment to start the avalanche.

Added to which, she's made the so-called Nuclear Option of bypasing the will of the electorate (assuming it could ever have been digestible to the party) even more untenable by articulating her case for electability in starkly racist terms. Even if the uncommitted superdelegates were inclined before this to hand her the nomination on such specious grounds, they won't touch it with a bargepole now lest they come off like a political lynch mob.

Sorry, but I just have to say this:
You are brilliant, gotalifefan.

Parsing is almost reflexive now. In a sense it's the true legacy of the Clintons' career in public life.

I don't see any character assasination in the phrase "Screw him".
I don't either.
A repulsive idea? Yes. Character assassination? No.

No, I believe that was a later administration's epic clusterf*ck.
