If people like Murtagh are so outraged by domestic terror, perhaps they should read Naomi Wolf's article and refocus their attacks on President Bush, who struck down Posse Comitatus. I am not trivializing any child's house being bombed, but this has the potential to be just as bad.
At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist, something smells very wrong about all this. For one ~ why now?

I've been saying the exact same thing for weeks now. McAnus will suddenly get sick. Too sick to continue. The RNC will intervene. And unless they have a say in his choice for VP, it probably will be some younger, (of course, that won't be too difficult), "electrifying" candidate that hasn't been fully vetted yet by the public.

I'm sure it stayed on his site because McAnus knows how he'll be spending most of his time after this November, and he's hoping for some free stuff in exchange for the promotion.

I agree to a point. Bush fatigue is a big factor among us, but I don't think so much for Republicans. I only used Jeb as an example because he's a big name, and they need someone like that to give them the boost that they need.
So, what other big-name party-uniting dinosaur is out there waiting for the call?

Here's my latest conspiracy theory possibility...
McCain becomes too ill of health to continue, and has to drop out. The RNC then hand picks a candidate to run against Obama, exactly who they want, and not any of the former primary candidates. Someone fresh, who they feel can quickly revitalize the party.
Jeb?

No offense, but it's actually spelled "winner".
It's okay. We all make mistakes.

I would have taken the $500,000, then turned around and endorsed Obama.
Doesn't her campaign always say delegates have the right to change their minds? This would have proved her right. I'm sure that would have made them all very happy.Posted at May 19, 2008 6:25 PM in response to Wolfson Gets His Correction From The Times

I question the authenticity McCain's "denouncement". If he wanted them stopped, he could do it easily. But in fact, it seems he's trying to have it both ways. Putting up a moral front, while allowing the smear campaign to go on gets the job done without getting his hands dirty.
Maverick, my ass.

It appears that he could now "demand" the resignation of quite a few of her people. And honestly, I don't care which one he chooses ~ pick a name out of a hat. The point is, he should start applying the same set of rules to her. See how she reacts. Does she fold and do it? Does she ignore it? Does she back off a bit?
FIGHT BACK! It doesn't have to be negative. It's just demanding she follow her own guidelines. Hitting her with her own ammunition.
