  • Coleman will swing whichever way the wind is blowing in Minnesota; you'll see, he be running on the republican ticket as a progressive. Franken is sharp and committed to the left. I'd be proud to have Franken as the face of Minnesota.

  • For those of you who have never witnessed the chaos and disorganization of a caucus, let me share: multiple people putting their hands in the ballot box simultaneously; no scrutiny on potential multi-voters; very strict time limits on voting (e.g. 90 minutes in MN) prevent many from even participating.

This all boils down to caucus delegates chosen through an unethical and untrustworthy system. Of course they are then free to change their minds later about whom to support. Caucuses are about as fair as the recent Russian election was.

  • I don't get why obama wants to compromise with republicans so much. Democrats stand to gain big this election. Democrats have been moving more to the center. They should start moving in the other direction. Obama seems ready to compromise (concede) very quickly - as in the present case of the resignation.

  • Caucus states should have their "votes" and delegates discounted. In a primary the polls are open all day. In Minnesota, the caucuses were open for a mere 90 minutes. I couldn't participate because I was at work. There are thousands like me. I would like the DNC to consider this.
