Yeah, but the 225 and B'way Target is just across the Elevated 1 from Riverdale, which, its location notwithstanding, has little to do with DA Bronx.

I'm amazed at the number of posts dedicated to answering a bitter poster obsessed with giving everyone here voter's remorse. If this person wants to be the online version of Maggie Williams, let her. Her side lost, and the recalcitrant on that side will always lament that loss with the same class (or lack thereof) as their idol. To paraphrase Malcolm Shabazz, chickens coming home to roost never make me sad, in fact, they do make me kind of glad.

What last night's drama reminded me of was of Michael Corleone's speech to that overbearing senator in Godfather II: "Senator? You can have my answer now, if you like. My final offer is this: nothing."
Obama, much better man than me that he is, won't do this, but I certainly would. She deserves nothing, and she should get nothing. She is more of a liability (high negatives, corrosive name, voters remorse as in California) than an asset anyway. Is there anything she can do in Appalachia that Mark Warner can't?

Ironically enough, what put Obama in the realm of possibility for me was a comment that the husband of my wife's cousin made about two years ago. This guy is a Virginia born, raised and educated devout Catholic, and a red to the bone conservative like his wife's family, who have a picture of Robert E. Lee in their dining room.
Anyway, here we are having brunch and some in the northern branch of the family (which includes me, a black Cuban, and my wife's aunt's husband, an Israeli) are stating our preference for Hillary, given that if she was elected, Bill would be part of the package deal. This was a long time ago, people.
So out of the blue this guy comes out with a "you know who I like?, This guy Obama. He's young, energetic, and I get him" Get him?, I thought, he's got to be joking. But no, he was serious.
On the drive back to NYC I was thinking that Obama must have been doing something singular to attract some sympathy from someone like this guy. I decided then to really start paying attention to the skinny guy from Illinois.Posted at May 26, 2008 6:08 PM in response to A Day With My Republican Family

This is a non-endorsement endorsement. Obama's plan would put millions in hard currency in Cuba's coffers. So Castro, knowing how knee-jerk my compatriots in Miami are, puts out a soft (but substantive, given what we Cubans pay attention to) criticism of Obama. Thus allowing some plausible deniability that Obama is the guy Raúl, the more pragmatic of the Castro brothers, would be the US candidate he'd rather do business with.

Making the "A" word acceptable for use in the context of domestic politics will now be part of HRC's legacy. They weren't kidding when they talked about the kitchen sink.
