  • and name recognition and boatloads of money will win 100% of the time, in that scenario Giuliani and HRC will be the nominee and dynasties will be the name of the game, no insurgent candidate will ever win.

The protracted nomination process allows for a candidate to remain viable long enough to get a chance to the nomination (see:JMC) or influence the agenda (see: Edwards).

  • Ok, tell us how DO you really feel??

Don't you get it, the DLC is the Dem version of K-street, a way to siphon money from corporate America into the pockets of the political establishment in exchange for policies that benefit said Corporations (and their leaders). In order to do that they need (DLC) either political power or the promise of obtaining it, there were no more safe bet the last 8 years that HRC will run and that she will win, and accordingly the money and influence increased, what to do now with an insurgence candidate, make him need your support desperately enough to make concessions to your supporters, so you keep the money flowing

What HRC, Bill, TerryMc, Harold Jr. et al are facing is the end of their dem monopoly of influence peddling ergo they are fighting back

Will be accurate if the GOP would like to discuss Michelle's policy positions, but what they are going to do is paint her as a black panther extremist and as a trollop, they angry black man attack did not work with BHO b/c he kept his cool, they (GOP) are going to try with goad Michelle, be ready for "is Barack the father?" stories

  • The objective is to keep the MI FL issue unresolved for as long as possible, as soon as any solution is reached, the national media will input the results in their snazzy graphics and show the voters that she doesn't have a chance to win the pledge delegates, and without that argument what are they going to say to their supporters and SD's? that Puerto Rico will decide the nomination?
