Clinton, Obama and "the Gay Street".
As a substantive matter, "the street" is a remarkably worthless political metric. Take it from me, I'm Arab. As such, the complex totality of my political outlook is reducable to what others around me, in mass quantity, take as a given. ...more »

What's been lost in all the jew-baiting hubbub is what a truly reactionary position Tinker staked out with this ad. I figured the progressive vote in Memphis (such that it is) would be more inclined to vote for her opponent, but I wonder how many votes she either lost or merely galvanized by placing opposition to school prayer on the same moral/political plan as support for slavery apologies/reparations.
I hope (but won't hold my breath) that EMILY's List will be more considered in their endorsements moving forward.
