The "inevitability" meme came from Politico, in evaluating Mark Penn's attempt to separate Hillary from Obama's tired-old-status-quo-candidate attack. Once again the media played a wonderful role in taking sides in the campaign and distilling talking points. "We report, we decide" - the new MSM mantra.

Hillary gave interviews with game magazines and such, here's one interview, and it seems clear she's concerned about hidden sexual content in one interactive game, as well as whether the ratings system is enforced for sales to young kids just like movie theaters enforce ratings.

While I may expose my kids to certain content earlier, it's my choice, and other parents may have different standards - she seems to be asking for credible publication and adherence to standards. She cites studies referring to the effects of visualizing violence by young children - do you have anything specific to contradict this? Do you object to limiting access to Hustler by 9 year olds, and is it beyond the pale to make the sale of Hustler to 9 year olds criminal or at least carry significant fines? Similarly, do you object to parents wanting to limit access to "Henry, Portrait of a Serial Killer" or various Italian cannibal flicks to young children? Is an interactive video game where they can participate in decapitations and disembowlments just a free speech issue for 4th graders, or do parents trying to prevent a Columbine have some say or obligation to pay attention to their children's entertainment selections? Hillary doesn't make a blanket statement that all these games are bad - she notes that it can be individual. Plenty of kids may find that Death Race 2000 is no more behavior affecting than cowboys and indians or watching the Three Stooges, but some kids have trouble distinguishing reality from fantasy. What's your opinion on parental rights and duties, and how they can be effectively upheld for video games?

"Prosperity builds unity"? Bill Clinton greatly improved the lot of blacks in America, standing up for black causes, decreasing black poverty, increasing black presence at all levels of government including upper executive positions, made 2 historic trips to Africa and his wife another.

Now he's the poster child of racism in the US.

Forget about it, the message is out - no one owes Bill Clinton a thing, and no one will owe anyone else a thing. Gratitude is just another form of racism. Everybody for themselves.

I bet you can do laps around it, oh humanoid aardvark. Much of my circumlocution comes with my arms anyway, and may I say occasionally I look on with perverse jealousy at the supple tail theatrics of our monkey cousins. Four arms good, 5 appendages better, I think I read in some book. Anyway, with space travel these body parts just become a bother - you have to lose them to make the monolith anyway.

Sorry, that was a bit dismissive - you can rip off its leaves and see some kind of rapid electrical impulse response that some people with fertile imaginations seem to infer as "pain". Don't want to be seen as insensitive.

Speaking from experience, being able to transmogrophy is no picnic. Even now I'm torn between regressive guttural noises, primitive signs of aggression, ecclesiastic proscription or light beam incineration, and that's after honing down my personalities to a bare minimum. Oh yeah, and hurling pea green soup at people, but I think I got that out of my system.
