Dean has been very clear about Michigan and Florida: the rules are the rules. That doesn't make the Clinton partisans happy, but that's not from a lack of leadership on it, but because of his leadership on fighting for the rules that the party agreed on.

Wright has zero impact on Obama policy, unlike, say, James Dobson (of the weekly white house briefings). Obama has never in his life expressed anything along the lines of Wright's more outrageous statements.

some people just have a problem with a candidate who has a close relationship with someone who says the kind of things that Wright has said.

Those are the fools.

The liberal elitist in me is taking guilty pleasure in watching this boil get lanced. All these dolts, stunned and confused by the fact that some African Americans are angry!

Turns out John McCain is a lonely voice for decency and tolerance.

On days like today I wish the Dems could trade the Ferraro faction for McCain.

It takes very few trolls to spoil an internet forum, and it's not realistic to ignore them because a boycott is only as strong as its weakest noob.

Ultimately, the only solution for dealing with highly motivated trolls is moderation. If the TPM people can't handle that, discourse will move elsewhere.
