Unbelievable until the bitter end. First she loses, and she offers him the VP slot. Then she's really done, and tells us all she wants it... Sorry, dear, Sen. Obama, for EARNIGN the nomination, has EARNED the right to select his own nominee. BTW, if she cannot control her husband during her campaign, why would President Obama (doesn't that have a nice ring to it... !!!) select to have him hanging around. Just picture the scenario for one moment, that should do.......

"once he has the nomination" he'll be glad to do anything to help?! What about helping him SECURE that nomination, and stop the divisive primary from going on way past any possible usefulness?!

SInce Ickes SIGNED OFF on the sanctions, originally, I do think it would be the honorable thing to stick to his principles (Yickes - like that one has a chance....) But I forget, he's now "wearing a different hat"... Isn't the duty of a R&B member to perform your duties according to the rules, or has that, too, been thrown overboard by the Clinton clan. Boy, they are starting to make the Bush-Cheney group look weak..

Mr. Sargent, I knew I could count on you to start the Clinton work on blaiming the press as well as Sen. Obama's campaign for her statement... Have you any idea how angry to Afr. am. community is? And even taken in context, the commnets are jsut as wrong and offensive - plain dumb and insensitive. As Sen. CLinton said, this is a job interview. In my opionin, she failed - period. After pitching black v white, brown v black, workers v others, men v women - this great divider should move on, and allow us to do the same. As she stated in the CA debate, she will be fine - let's concentrate on the isses and make sure that the party and all the ones she claims to champion will be fine, too.

This won't help Bill's "negotiations" to get them on the ticket! Add David Gergen's comment that the Obama people would already feel they needed a "taster".... NO WAY - no more drama. And she claims again she was just stating the facts, like "Jessy Jackson won SC" or " the hard working Americans, the white ones"... Intent or slip of the tongue (hard to believe from the most scripted candidate ever) - either way, DISQUALIFIED as CiC, VP or Pres. More good will gone... That's all, folks.

Just looking at the title, I knew it would be Mr. Sargent who was writing this, giving more credence to the HRC spin, based on one anonymous quote form 8 days ago to Politico, than to the carefully slated position by the Obama campaign. What is the agenda here - fan the flames so we can all go down together in November???

Agreed - to exclude voters in states that DID follow party rules (without stating that you are excluding them) does make this story very Bush-like....

Sorry, but giving part of the story (without stating that it is only part!) does not speak high of the QUALITY of you post, sir....
