Tasteless? Yes! Gut-busting hilarious? Also Yes!!
OK, I hesitated posting this YouTube video because of the potential disrespect to Hillary supporters (most of whom I actually do respect and like), but this spoof is too funny and clever to pass up. Now, before you view the...more »

Newt's plea to Republicans
This article says it all about the state of the Republican party's chances in November.http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=26376My favorite quote:<blockquote>The Republican brand has been so badly damaged that if Republicans try to run an anti-Obama, anti- Reverend Wright, or (if Senator Clinton wins),...more »

Ya think grandpa McCain will be hard to beat this fall?
This post by Kos is laugh-out-loud funny. McCain is having a few too many senior moments lately - I can't wait until Obama debates him! ;)http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/5/6/152958/0148/373/510163...more »

Take a deep breath ...
OK, so we Obama supporters were denied a blowout last night, and Senator Clinton lives to fight another day. After my initial (profound) disappointment over this fact, I decided that, to save my sanity and health, I would trust in...more »

Um, that was me who posted the blog earlier, and I said I didn't equate Hillary with Hitler nor did I agree with the homophobic statements made, but that for sheer comedic value it was worth posting. Honestly, if you don't think it's funny, fine, but obviously many people do (it has over 105,000 hits). And, anyway, this is a parody of a parody (another one was done using the same film about the Dallas Cowboys - here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYu68SHWh64). Are you going to get incensed about someone insulting the Cowboys by using Hitler? Were you upset with Mel Brooks when he lampooned Hitler in The Producers (after all, making Hitler "funny", especially so soon after WWII, was risky and very controversial).
Is it tasteless? Yes, certainly. But since when is comedy always tasteful and non-controversial? Laughter is the best weapon against almost any injustice, and sometimes it's the only way to get the point across. I think whoever made this parody did it brilliantly and it certainly makes its point. And it's funny.

And I suppose you felt that way about The Producers as well? After all, Mel Brooks lampooned Hitler in the movie to hilarious effect. Come on - I'm absolutely not minimizing the Holocaust or the suffering of 6 millions Jews, nor am I equating Hillary with Hitler, but this parody is really clever and very funny. I'm sorry, but finding humor in the most horrible situations is how many, many people have survived in this world. It's what makes us human.

God, I would hope not - sounds pretty masochistic and self-loathing to me. I would hope she has a little better self-concept than that, but it is an interesting possibility.

All I can suggest is, lighten up and chill. Sorry you don't think it's funny, but it's already gotten over 75,000 views and if a lot of people didn't think that Clinton has run a horrible, nasty campaign there wouldn't be stuff out there like this.
And, for the record, I am a "long-time" Democrat as well - in fact, I am a lifetime Democrat. And I happen to think this is hilarious.

How does this make a difference when it just reminds people that, even though Joe and Valerie Wilson tried to prevent the war, she voted for it anyway? I don't understand your logic...

I totally agree with you. I can't see how it helps her either. There are days when I scratch my head and wonder how her campaign can be so bone-headed sometimes. This is an obvious loser in my mind.
