Kickass Kerry
I have to admit I was stunned at how on fire John Kerry was tonight. Where was this John Kerry in 2004?As he took the stage I thought, "Oh, good luck, Senator. You just got some lousy position in the...more »

Not trying to harken back to Michelle Obama's misspeak, but I have to say that I myself am not used to feeling proud of my country, and haven't since I was a naive kid.
But I think the release a lot of us feel comes from finally having something to feel really damned proud of, and to have Hillary be so instrumental, at the end, in delivering this moment, is like a crown jewel on one helluva great cake.
I've already pinched myself, but the headlines are all still there. Mark this day down, America.

Yup, there's a fair amount of wailing and gnashing of teeth out at Taylor Marsh and Hillaryis44. When I checked it a few minutes ago the whiners/gnashers were still outnumbered, but for how long?

Many years ago I moved from the urban nightmare of Houston Texas to magnificent rural New Hampshire. For months I would just drive around whenever I wasn't working, and it felt like I was receiving megadoses of vitamins via IV.
This feels like that. The whole thing.

Well, if they don't use that, they're nuts.
I often wonder why McCain uses tactics that leave him so vulnerable. Perhaps he thinks Obama won't use it this week and by next week it'll be too late? Obama ought to use "Bomb, bomb, bomb" along with his nod to the draft and hammer him in every state in the country; I leave the timing to him.
I can't figure out their logic. Oh, wait, McCain probably flunked logic at Annapolis as part of his overall strategy to downplay intellectualism. At least he was successful with that.

No Deanie, what we're all supposed to do, actually, is sit around these basements and shake our fists at the sky over Obama's every latest move.
We're not supposed to care that Dems unable to deliver results to those unthinking morons in red states will not be what wins their hearts and minds, what brings clarity to their thinking. Nay! We're to fold our arms on our chests, harrump a lot, and say, "It's not our job to get Barack Obama elected. If THEY don't vote for him, WE get what they deserve. We'll show THEM! We'll kick ass four years from now! HAH!"
Too many Democrats love to eat their young. They do it over and over again. Nothing about this should surprise you. But they forget that if McCain gets elected, every single thing he can't get through Congress will be Dems' fault, and in four years some of that nice majority we're about to improve upon will start to break up.
Many of them, I suspect, would clap hands if he selected Hillary, that classic liberal. HAH! And many of them will never be happy because they consider it beneath their dignity.
