  • The "underlying dynamic" here is that Obama will have the pledged delegate (and probably the popular vote) lead going into the convention. So if Hillary somehow got the nomination people realize that Obama would HAVE to be VP to avoid the Party imploding.

Clinton isn't the leader in anything so people don't see the point of putting her on the ticket when it would only make Dems' chances that much worse.

  • I'd add a "/satire" on the end.

  • Well, that's a denial of one particular thing, but not the Drudge story (which started all of this off) about staffers circulating a photo.

He's denying something that wasn't alleged. So, I think that's why people are taking issue with your assertion, it seems like Wolfson is moving the goalposts on what the story is and you're willing to pretend he's not doing so.

On the original subject of whether or not staffers were circulating the photo he claims no knowledge.

  • Actually, after a bit of reflection, I liked it better when Hillary took the high road and Bill was the attack dog.

  • Right. I don't understand the lack of a link between these two stories. It seems like all this basically frees Obama to do whatever without any repercussions whatsoever.

  • What's up with TPM? I mean, maybe it's nitpicking, but you've sort of buried the relevant points -- Patrick approves and they've developed their ideas in symbiosis -- after the jump, inside a paragraph, below the YouTube embeds. That's kind of lame.

This story about Barack Obama and Deval Patrick, this is both an old story and a bogus one.

The story is from almost a year ago. Ok? So that Hillary is pushing this now is pathetic. But what is more pathetic is that obviously Patrick and Obama are part of the same stream, friends in the same movement, and they are HAPPILY sharing their words and themes. That's the WHOLE IDEA!

Hillary's just angry because none of her friends like sharing, I guess.

  • Hillary Clinton can't even beat Barack Obama in the Democratic primary. The general election includes Republicans and Independents, how on Earth does she think she can win there?
