Reports are coming in from across Georgia this afternoon on the Republican lieutenant governor’s primary, and some of them are pretty darn funny, actually -- though I doubt that Ralph Reed (R) is laughing. Indeed, if these anecdotal accounts are to be believed, Reed appears to be, shall we say, underperforming.
Check out this anecdote that was shared by a commenter at Peach Pundit:
I was voting this morning in Dunwoody (a Fulton County precinct) and woman came in to vote and, when asked whether she was voting Democratic or Republican, she refused to answer, saying she was “undeclared.” The poll workers and I began explaining to her that it didn’t work that way in a primary, that she had to vote in one or the other and mentioning the different races in the two primaries. She finally said, “well, which race is Ralph Reed in as I want to be sure to vote against him!”
