Norm Coleman Removed From Senate Phonebook
Norm Coleman is now a Senate un-person.
Mother Jones reports that the updated Senate phone listings have just been printed out -- and Norm Coleman's name isn't in them. After all, his term expired this past Saturday, and he's now in court to force the election results to be changed so that he's winning instead of Al Franken.
Think about this, Norm: Joe Biden is going to resign his seat within the next two weeks, and even he's still in the Senate phonebook.

That'll never get old.
Got the screen cap so if I get in a funk in a week or so, I can just open that up and a smile will appear.

It took me a while to think why Biden's number would still be there. Shouldn't have had wine at lunch as I know gather.

Oh come on. This has nothing to do with Coleman. They had to update the directory because they have Senators who were out and Senators who were in.
I'm not a Coleman fan, but trying to make this seem like it only happened to Coleman is stupid.

Nobody here misunderstands the situation.
Given Coleman is such an asshat, and given this process has been and will continue to be slow for some time, we're simply savoring each and every little milestone along the way to Coleman's inevitable official defeat.

Bygollymissmolly, I see you are troubled by this, and I find myself wondering if the asshat explanation kindly offered gives you any comfort?

I just called Norm's office here in St. Paul. I got a recording that said, "The office is closed today." Then it said, "If this is an urgent constituent request, please leave a message."
Better idea, call Sen. Amy Klobuchar. She is, you know, actually a Senator.
