Final SurveyUSA Polls Show Obama Ahead In Pennsylvania, Florida
SurveyUSA has its final polls out in the big swing states of Florida and Pennsylvania, and both show Barack Obama ahead.
The numbers from Florida show a very narrow advantage for Barack Obama -- thanks in large part to the campaign's early-vote campaign. The numbers: Obama 50%, McCain 47%, a three-point lead with a ±3.8% margin of error. Two weeks ago, McCain had a 49%-47% edge.
The internals show Obama winning the early vote 58%-40%, with an estimated 58% of the total likely vote already cast. McCain wins the remaining likely voters 56%-38%, helping him to close the gap somewhat.
The ultimate result, then, depends on how many voters there really are left, and to what degree they break for McCain.
On top of that, their final poll from Pennsylvania doesn't show any good news for McCain. Obama has a lead of nine points, 52%-43%, compared to yesterday's poll that showed a 51%-44% Obama lead. If Obama picks up red states like Florida or other big gets like Virginia, and McCain can't poach Pennsylvania from the Democratic column, it will be a very bad night for the GOP.

This time tomorrow boys and girls...

I don't think my nerves can handle tomorrow!
I wish tomorrow was today, and I was settled in bed with Obama ready to lead in January.
More importantly, boys and girls, is to vote. for obama!

I just finished watching Obama's rally in VA. The "Fired up, ready to go!" story/closing was fantastic. Any attendance estimates?
And folks, think about this...a Democratic presidential candidate, a black guy, held his closing rally in a state that was the home of the former of the Confederacy...at the site of two huge battles where the Confederacy kicked the Union's butt...twice.
Who da thunk it possible?

I heard it was about 80,000!

Campaign says 90,000. Obama himself said 100k in his speech. It was huge.
My wife and son are down there right now. He wanted to see Obama very badly. I feel for her because I know how long she's going to have to be on her feet, and then I don't expect they'll be home 'til very late. And we have to get up very early in the morning. She's a very good mother. I am glad she's giving that opportunity to our son.

Obama looked completely exhausted in VA. But Biden is on fire right now in Phili! he's really hitting McCain.

I thought he's looked off his game all day. Hardly surprising after today's news. Let's make tomorrow a better day for him.

He learned about his Grandmother's death this morning. The fact that he is even up there shows strength.

It is a devastating day for him personally and yet he didn't "suspend" (God, how I hate those fucktard airquotes) his campaign to score some cheap political points.
The turn-out was awesome for a red state that too late into the night.
"I have one word for you - Tomorrow, Tomorrow".
I love the way he breaks it down for the folks to get it.

I have to say, I like Dickweed Notch much better 'cause it made me laugh. Although since they went for Obama this year I guess they don't deserve it.

SUSA has African-American making up 10% of the electorate in PA. In 2004, African-Americans made up 13% of PA's electorate.

And they are predicting McCain gets a health 16% of the African-American vote in Florida.

The fired up story was pretty cool. I don't recall him giving that lately. I noted the whole change the room, street, town, etc line was from the internet advertisement for the Democratic convention.
Fired up!

This may sound kind of weird, but you could take a page from the book of some serious Deadheads(follower/fans of the Grateful Dead, in case that's not clear.)
The folks I am thinking of eschewed drugs and alcohol at the shows.
Instead, they'd find a space with some room, and commence spinning in place to the music.
Much like little kids on the playground have done since playgrounds were invented.
Spin, spin, spin - I'm dizzy! Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!
A completely natural, self-induced buzz.
Just make sure you move the coffee table and the Ming vase to a safe place before you start.
That angular momentum can be tricky once you lose your balance.
:-)
Come to think of it, a helmet might not be a bad idea.

We canvassed in the rain again today. Heard as we got back in the car to return to HQ that Big O's grandma had died.
I lost my grandmother in September, an incredibly special woman. I'm not a religious person, but I think you'll know what I mean when I say we were praying for his grandma to make it to his inauguration. I feel like it's extra important to get him there now.
Canvassing in the rain again tomorrow--whatever it takes.
