Slightly Paranoid McCain Ad Theory Of The Day
Take a look at this screen cap of McCain's latest "celeb" ad...
As TPM Reader ES notes, the mag covers appear to have been stacked to create the name "Mao." And as he says, this comes just when we're all watching the Olympics and seeing all of those bic pics of him, and it's the only cover stacked in that manner.
Hmmm. We're not sure about this one. After all, the two "Obama" names are end to end, so you can read each one.
But heck, we're posting this anyway, because with so many other McCain ad theories going around on other sites, we were starting to feel left out.

Also note the "IONGENE" above "MAO", this is clearly a reference to the science fiction classic "The Ion Gene" in which a super-race of genetically engineered humanoids takes over the government and keeps people as pets, eating their pills for fuel.

Interesting. It was probably on purpose, but hey, that's all the McCain campaign has anymore, lies and trying to call Obama a celebrity. Every time he releases one of these ads he just looks small and jealous...especially this one that starts off "it must be nice..." yeah, the first thing I thought was McCain saying he wishes he wasn't so uninspiring and unwanted, and behind in the polls.

McSame's latest ad has subliminable™ appeals to both doctors and the bomb-Iran crowd.
Clearly visible in the ad's concatenated headlines, ...BAMAOBAM..., are the letters AMA and BAM, the latter appearing twice.
Calls to Doctors Without Borders and the Beach Boys were not immediately returned.

These people are professional ad makers.
political ad makers dont do anything by accident. every detail is scrutized. every sound. every pixel manipulated so that their goal is accomplished. and if you don't think that was deliberate, than you're delusional.
thats not to say its effective or even noticeable to the average viewer, but you shouldn't give republican ad makers who's sole goal is to smear obama the benefit of the doubt. that's just madness.
they're not above dismissing him as an emptyheaded vacuous "celebrity" but they ARE above trying to label him a communist even tho john mccain himself practically called obama a "socialist" a few weeks ago????
dont give these guys the benefit of the doubt. they don't desere it. they know exactly what they're doing with this kinda stuff.
and its a double bonus for them because anyone who calls them on it is labeled as a paranoid partisan.

I'd LOVE to see a campaign Ad that runs on TV that actually uses the word "LIE"....and backs it up. The tax issue seems to be one that is tailor made, or you could also bring up that little "lie" about Obama and the troops in Iraq, for a twofer....And then we'd get into the LIE war of campaign Ads, which in turn might just lead the Media into actually spending some time playing "factcheck.org"...
of course on both campaigns. But for the time being, I'm betting there'll be a lot more LIES to put on the McCain campaign. And remember, LIES is a word nicely associated with Bush/Cheney....
