Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow
Bill Clinton enters to the same Fleetwood Mac song that was the theme of his 1992 campaign.
"That campaign generated so much heat, it increased global warming," Bill says of the Democratic Primary.

Any question about Clinton's welcome have been answered.
Meeks as presenter was a nice touch.

OK that mention of Obama was lukewarm at best. Not good.

Puhhhleeez.
"Rebuilding the American dream" is a great slogan that dovetail's perfectly with Obama's story.
Nice to see Bill hasn't lost his touch after all. I was never a big fan, but he won, and you've gotta love that.

It was just his first mention of Obama that he seemed to speed through. Bill's doing real good now!

Somehow, I kept thinking about the line in the song that goes "yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone. Oooh, don'tcha look back..."

Maybe the warm welcome he received will go along way towards alleviating his disappointment/bitterness.

FULL THROATED SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!!

God, Clinton lays this stuff out so well and with such ease, "strength abroad = strength at home," "our example abroad v. the example of our power": great stuff.

How ironic that the networks would rather show an episode of "The Biggest Loser" (and no, that's not a biography of McCain) than this speech. I bet the ratings would be higher for the Big Dog's speech.

Yes, but we'll have to wait for the morning shows to find out what the color of his tie is really telling us.

Wearing a blue tie was a blatant swipe against bipartisanship. Isn't it obvious?

Fox Noise:
"We threw a Rubick's cube into the air and it was scuffed up once it hit the ground. One of the red stickers peeled off a little and a puppy peed on it. This means that Bill Clinton was really sounding a whistle to Hillary's 18 million supporters to vote for Nader!"

I don't think it's quite as good as Hillary's speech last night. He's hitting the marks, but it feels a little flat to me.

Did Bill just call McCain an extremist? ...Holy shit. Bill, you're awesome.

Why didn't Obama let Bill design the talking points for this convention? There's the first mention I've heard of "Katrina and cronyism."

I was glad that someone finally mentioned it. Especially with another hurricane possibly heading that way.

What beancounter couldn't get it through their head that it should've been featured here?
Clinton's simple but incisive analysis of the two main themes of this election, "restoring the American dream" and "restoring our influence abroad" are pitch perfect. What a wonderful speech.

Who among the Republicans can top any one of Kennedy, M. Obama, H. Clinton, B. Clinton or B. Obama?
I feel a bounce coming on if this is going to be the fare going forward.
