Obama Hires Hillary's Director Of Women's Outreach
A key new hire in Obamaland: His campaign announces that they've hired Dana Singiser, who was Hillary's director of women's outreach, to help win the female vote.
It's an important move, because the McCain campaign has already begun to work overtime to win over disaffected Hillary supporters, particularly blue collar women, and Singiser, who was also a top aide to Howard Dean in 2004, obviously knows this demographic as well as anyone.
There's no real evidence yet that this demographic is really at risk for Obama, of course. What will prevent this from changing is a successful effort by the Obama team to cut through the fog and persuade women what a McCain presidency would really mean for them -- and Singiser will be central to that campaign.

"Real evidence"? Is there imaginary evidence that suggests this demographic is at risk? Or is this demographic at risk like the Latino demographic is "at risk" for Obama?

It's not as if this demographic has a winner-take-all block of electoral votes. Every percentage-point increase BigO can get among this or any other demographic group, well, they all add up.

Did she bring in the women voters for Dean too?

Yep, we set up an iranian puppet state in iraq. After 50 years of oppression, the shiites want payback. I really don't know what planet mcbush and the "surge success" people are living on. It's frightening.

Obama needs to get in front of this and hit McCain on the chin. Don't let McCain spin this to his advantage. Say something like, "I will work with the Iraqi government to withdraw US troops according to an agreed upon timetable. John McCain is willing to have US troops fight and die in Iraq even against the will of the Iraqi people."

Obama's campaign has been slow to respond to mccain and others. I don't know what they're doing. I still think he may be building an unwieldy staff with too many clinton people who simply are not in sync with the Obama mind set.

this is good hopefully it could help bring in the women voters because we all know that McCain gets a 0% on womens issues

This shouldn't be too hard of a job. Simple message. Mcbush will appoint judicial activist, right-wing loonie toon judges like scalia who wouldn't know what a constitution was if it hit him in the face. We are only one judge away from a uber right-wing court that will take away all of our rights. Cake walk of a job.
