A) I thought Cheney only went out at night, and I thought you could only see him out of the corner of your eyes.

B) His press office confirmed something? Aren't we still unsure if he has an office or if he actually exists? Since when does the VP office actually answer questions about Cheney? Isn't their job to answer with more questions?

He is vetting Joe for his job like he did for McBush in 2000. Only dick knows how to land a dick for the VP slot!

I imagine the conversation will go something like this: " Joeohhhhhhhhh, I am your faaathaaa..."

Maybe Lieberman actually will be Vice-President.

Bomb, bomb, bomb. Bomb bomb Iran.

The one thing Cheney-Lieberman-McCain have in common is their desire to bomb the a--ah out of Iran.

Now isn't that just special. Since Lieberman is essentially just a double agent for the dark side, you'd think Cheney would be a little more inconspicuous when meeting with him.

I hope that Leiberman has been kept out of the loop regarding sensitive Democratic materials and strategies. Who needs another Watergate when you can just use Lieb, eh?

A few months ago, it was reported that Lieberman would probably speak at the Republican National Convention. If that happens, he should just convert his party affiliation for "I" to "R" and call it done.

Could be that Lieberman and the GOP are choreographing his final defection to the Republican caucus (of course, he's been there in spirit for a couple of decades). Big press conference, somber mood, an air of tragedy in Lieberman's remarks about hopw he can no longer bear to see the Democratic Party make common cause with radical Islamists and Black militants.

You get the idea.

I expect it will happen before the Republican convention; that way Lieberman can be this year's Zell Miller (God help us).

The funny thing is, there'll no doubt be a chorus of Republican voices in the MSM pretending that a Lieberman defection represents a shocking and momentous turn of events, when anyone with more than a first-grade education saw it coming ten years ago.

Cheney is resigning and negotiating with Liberman to be VP

Since I see several of these ideas floated whenever Lieberman's status is discussed, I wish people would understand a few basic facts:

1. Lieberman's joining the Republicans would not result in a change of control of the Senate this year.
2. Lieberman cannot be removed from the Chair of the Government Operations Committee this year. These 2 are because they were both contained in the organizing resolution for the 110th Congress, and any motion to undo it would be subject to a filibuster.
3. Lieberman can, and should, be expelled from the Democratic caucus, effective immediately. Doing so would have no effect on his Chairmanship, nor on the Democrats' status as the Majority Party or Harry Reid's status as Majority Leader.
4. United States Senators are not subject to recall in any state. By the terms of the Constitution and the 17th Amendment they are elected by the people to a six-year term, and states have no power to shorten or terminate that term.

Birds of a feather...

And the smell of sulfur hung in the air for hours afterward.
