Obama And Hillary To Campaign Together

The Obama campaign has just announced that the presumptive nominee will be campaigning next Friday, June 27, with a very special guest: Hillary Clinton, who has been urging her supporters to unite behind Obama.

No further details -- where, what time, etc. -- have been announced yet, but we'll keep you posted.

I assume she'll be wearing a "HillaryClinton.com" sandwich board.

hahaha

It better be a very safe state

Like where? Puerto Rico would be safe. It's not a state, so no damage will be done. Other than that, I can't think of one.

Haven't we moved into the post-snark era re Clinton's support of Obama? Unless she proves otherwise, why don't we take Sen. Clinton at her word?

I agree ... she hasn't done anything since her concession to indicate that she is anything other than sincere in her support. Heck, staying out of the public eye, making conference calls to donors ... she's fallen in line.

Agreed - as discussed in my uncharacteristically annoyed post here:

Hear, hear! I am all for the rehabilitation of the Obama supporters' image, and of Hillary Clinton's image among the public and the members of this on-line community.

Ditto, folks the primary is over. No matter what, lets try to take Hillary's move as a positive force for Obama until proven otherwise. This tripe is ridiculous absent any, you know, evidence.

There were 18m voters who liked Hillary, it does no good to piss them off, we want as many of them as possible to vote for Barack. And the best way to make that happen is the two of them on a stage together.

I'm really glad HRC is pitching in, she has no obligation to do so, but it means she fundamentally values the party winning. Her conference call with money folks yesterday also support this conclusion.

But she was only out of the public eye for, like, 48 hours!

I don't see any reason not to take her at her word and actions. I agree with others, past time to let by-gones be by-gones. It was a tough primary campaign, she came damn close to winning, and is dealing with the disappointment of losing like any candidate does. Taking some time and letting the waters calm down. Now, after an appropriate interval, she is coming to help.

What's to complain about?

So was the Solis-Doyle appointment a preparation for the Comeback??????

How well the joint campaign goes might help answer

Heh.

Hillary's $upporter$ say that Obama should flip the "give money now" switch to ON in order to get his sheeples to retire her debt to vendors. No money has flown to her post primary. Evidently, Hillary is tailoring her campign participation to what she gets.

O yeah. We'll jump right on that one. These people just do not get it. Their persistant misreading of Obama, his ground game, reality and his supporters is endemic.

Superduper Hillary buddy Lynn Forester de Rothschild said post-primary that Obama should come to Hillary with hat in hand.

Piss off, bitches. Get your own cadres to pony up.
