Wolfson: There Have Been "No Discussions" Of Ending The Race
On the Hillary conference call, a reporter asked the following of Hillary spokesperson Howard Wolfson:
"Have there been any discussions of not going forward?"
Wolfson's answer:
"No. No discussions."

In finacial circles we call it "escallation of commitment."
You poor resources into an investment and when it starts going bad you poor more resources in, afraid that not doing so will mean you lose your original investment. Walking away from a loss is hard, but throwing good money after bad is to be avoided at all costs (literally.)

I am not a Hillary supporter. I am not a Bush supporter. I am not a McCain supporter. But I do think Barack Obama was the worst choice the Democrats could've made for their nominee. Of course, Clinton wasn't all that much better.
In any case, how do you explain the election of George Bush...if, as you imply, you have so much faith in the American people? Is it really your contention that the American people made the right choice when they elected George Bush?

Wolfson can say what he wants, Clinton conceded last night in her speech, referring to her daughter and husband's campaign efforts in the past tense.
It is important for the party for Hillary to continue to press forward if she can afford it, so long as she keeps running on propped-up fake issues like the gas tax holiday, which was a gift from heaven for Obama. If she does not attack Obama's character, she will be helping the Dems register more voters in WV and KY, which could be in play in November.
