THIS IS EXCELLENT NEWS!! FOR HILLARY!!!

And he's still getting trounced.
Why can't he win?

user-pic

He is winning. But being a Clinton supporter, I would certainly understand how all the standards of victory your candidate has proffered could confuse you.

I mean, when she claims it's about popular vote, vote in states that she said wouldn't count, projected electoral votes, votes in states that "matter", primary-only states, states with "hard-working" Americans, states that don't have too large an African-American population, states that Dems "need in the fall", "big states"...how could you be blamed for forgetting that it's all about the delegates?

Good luck trying to school "present" on anything here. This guy has been hiding behind his hacked-in "reply" button for a long time out of fear that we would expose his pitiful comments. He is the pure definition of a troll. In his sad little world, up is down. Actually he reminds me of the Roman philosopher Pliny, who refused to believe the evidence of even his own eyes.In short this guy is a yellow-livered coward who has nothing constructive to contribute to this site other than his skewed, dishonest comments.

I was actually just wondering earlier today why we never heard April's numbers. I'm going to guess Hillary's was somewhere close to McCain's, and after you factor in debt I bet she is still way in the red.

THIS

SHOULD

None of it from special interests, either.

BREAKING FROM HILLAND:

BILLARY LENDS ITSELF ANOTHER $20 MILLION!!!

Serious question. How do they know which monies go to which? GE vs. primary? Example: I have donated many times to Obama, where did they show that money?

I'm assuming they put it toward the primary until you hit your 2300, and then start piling it on the general side.

user-pic

Yep.

Thank you Sen Obama for your generosity in allowing Sen Clinton to finish. And don't forget to check back regularly with Mitt Romney, you start to look as flush as he did. Jerk.

user-pic

Self-parody is some times amusing, but I wouldn't quite your day job.

No worries, nobody can outflood you with comments.

user-pic

I wasn't worried in the least.

I know

user-pic

Are you trying to be offended? Would you rather he call for her to withdraw? Sometimes, you folks just don't make any damned sense. What the hell is he supposed to say to make you happy?

Other than, "I'm dropping out and supporting Senator Clinton in the fall"?

Just FMI: does Josh Marshall ever put himself in the position of being commented upon? Or does he just let you slobs catch all the crap?

user-pic

The later. Though I seem to recall a comment form him in these threads once or twice.

I've definitely seen him pop up in the comment section from time to time.

I fondly recall one especially memorable time when he dropped in to toss a little dry snark at Matthew Weaver.

Guys! Doesn't that piss you off? A favorite talker, Bob Somerby, says Josh has been stolen by somebody else. He used to be good, but not so much anymore.

Seriously?! Amazing.

You think Josh is hot? And you look like THAT?

haha, what?

Anyway, the reason I ask is Josh is on the front page losing it over the Kennedy news. So he just gets up there and blurts it all out, huh? Stuff nobody gives a shit about what HE thinks? Is it ya set up a site with some stupid slobs willing to think hard for free, and he blabs on and on, crying all over himself with nobody saying there's something important happening here, asshole. Get on the stick. Okay. Nice work.

When are we going to get the speech from Hillary when she insists that her supporters start being a bit more gracious toward the Obama voters?

Personally, I'm not holding my breath...

user-pic
"...hard numbers yet from Hillary".

I think that is the likely descriptor for Clinton's haul even when the solid totals come out.

Outspent her drastically but she still wins. What a waste of money. Poor MSNBC is having a melt down like that kook on CNN.

Great speech by the fighter Clinton.

Given that he didn't spent a lot in KY and focused on OR and the general election instead, yes, I'd say it was very well spent.

user-pic

He outspent her in KY?

Links please.

Shoot -- I didn't mean to post that link. Please don't look at it.

CNN said he outspent her by half a million.

gotalife is into GILF!

You really should save those links in the bookmark file labeled "PRIVATE!"

Can it troll.

You are a total fraud hack. You are after me because I had open mind about election.

I will not stand for BS hacks.

Pathetic.

I was wondering when the Clinton will release. I believe they have to by midnight at the latest.

I will give another $ 50 this month...

Yes we can

Obama 08

I just gave another $50 to Obama as well. I hope you all will join me in Democratic solidarity.

GotALife, I am moved by your transformation.

Good for you, man!

Just a question, will Josh, Greg and other echo-masters in this chamber care to report that SUSA has Clinton winning over McCain in NC? And Obama losing? In NC... of all places. Who's the map changer?

user-pic

Why? We already have SurveyUSA showing Obama cleaning McCains's clock in PA today.

What do you mean: why?

Oh, I forget, you pick the polls you like.

user-pic

No, the question is why you think it holds some telling insight given that the PA polling destroys the long pushed (and false notion that Obama can't win PA and thus allows Obama the freedom to focus on states like NC and VA to work for them.

And aren't you doing precisely what you are trying to hassle TPM for?

And to TPM's credit, i don't think either was it's own thread - the breathless sense of polling seems to have passed at last.

Users, of course, are welcome to point either out.

But let's be serious, Lalo - you're not really asking why. You know why perfectly well.

user-pic
Who's the map changer?
Is that like gerrymandering as in creatively cutting out election districts to favor one's party or as in creatively interpreting election rules and counts to favor one's candidate?

And congratulations to Sen. Clinton on her Kentucky victory. Really.

As much as I like Hillary, I have to hand it to the guy. He runs a good campaign and the fundraising is unprecedented.

If Obama ends up the nominee, I'll stand with my fellow Democrats in working hard to help him get to the white house. I promise this.

Thank you, Bizarro Fogu2.

It says something significant that Obama gets so many small contributions. I want to believe the election is going to be a landslide for Obama.

I am being hacked by a fake gotalife.

I am real gotalife. Everyone else is crap bs.

Greg? This stops now.

GFY trolls.

I'm sorry. I thought that by pushing my views I would get others to think. It's only now that I realize I've gone about it (and many things in life) all wrong. This will be my final post.

user-pic

But is it your final final post?

yes. After that post, there will never be another post from me.

NO! I like you better than the donkey incarnation. Please stay.

Good For You.

Your ID theft is lame.

Give it a rest.

Wow, now even I'm confused.

GFY!! Do you know how long it took me to photoshop this icon!!!

You guys are pathetic.

You are both troll crap hacks.

Lame.

I am the real gotalfie, always have been.

I stood up today and said I would go with nominee whoever it is. Even Obama.

Now trolls are coming after me.

Complete BS. Greg? End this fraud.

I am the real gotalife

I am not going anywhere

Any trolls are bs crap

I said I would vote for dem nominee - even Obama. now they are after me.

I am a lifelong dem, no matther who the nominee.

AP: The Clinton campaign is reporting an April fund-raising haul of $20 million and a tiny red bicycle.

In the age of global warming, I'm glad to see the Clinton campaign investing in bicycles! But you Obamabots probably didn't think of that. Typical.

ha!

I'd love to see Mark Penn riding down the street on a child's sting ray.

Mark Penn has always peddled his arse off to the highest bidder.

Troll crap hack. GFY.

Ah we need some good news today. Good fund raising totals for Obama, CNN is reporting he won the pledged delegate race. Woot!

On the bad side, Hillary is still spewing bs, Teddy Kennedy has a brain tumor (this saddens me waaay more than I ever thought it would and I think his relationship with Obama makes it even more so.), Obama is getting another shellacing in KY and Hamilton Jordan has now passed away.

I am hoping between the fund raising, a rousing Obama speech and a Hillary shellacing in Oregon and most importantly, winning the pledged delegates -I will be well cheered by the end of the night.

GoBama.

ps - the faux goatlife is also cheering me up. Way to go hacker - you rock.

user-pic

I love these numbers - 94% of the donations are under %200.

user-pic

So let's see...

$55 Million in February
$40 Million in March and
$30 Million for February

At this rate of decline he could roughly reach parity with Clinton this month. It would be interesting to see how well he did in a potential swing state if he couldn't outspend Clinton on advertising by a 2- or 3-to-1 ratio. Who's up next after KY and OR?

user-pic

Oops, I meant $30 Million for April (in case it wasn't obvious). It's also interesting that McCain just had his best fundraising month of the campaign so far.
